I had the best time of my life in La casa encantada. Una casa encantada de verdad. I met so many people on the first day and they became my friends. Excellent staff always friendly and available. Felt at home. I want yo go back liss it already. If you come to La Palma, there is where you want to go. More than definitely recommend. Sarah Macias. Love to La casa encantada and the team.

The hostel was basic but comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful — a joy to meet and mingle with. Overall, the experience was all I had hoped for: a few good nights of rest (even with the 5 earthquakes we experienced!) and a base from which to explore the island (especially Cumbre Vieja in all its glory). The bonus home-cooked meals during the day were totally unexpected! Not sure they are offered all the time but were very much appreciated during our short stay.

Estuvimos durmiendo 4 noches, en un habitación doble, sin ninguna ventilación, con un ventilador y plagada de garrapatas. Hablamos con los voluntarios y con el jefe de la casa, les comunicamos que queremos cambiar de habitación, pero nos dicen que lo tienen todo lleno y que seguramente las garrapatas las hemos traido nosatras.😳. Lugar nada recomendable, a parte de la habitación, la cocina, los baños; es decir las zonas comunes, no estan limpias. No os recomiendo que durmais más de una noche.

Lo peor que me ha pasado en la vida. suciedad por todos lados, las fotos que publicitan seguramente fueron sacadas hace años, los baños es la cosa mas asquerosa que he visto en mi vida, no hay ni un solo armario en ningún lado donde poder colgar algo de ropa, al ver la cocina te dan ganas de llorar, el "mobiliario" seguramente fue recogido en puntos donde las personas se desasen de enseres que ya por viejos o por estropeados deciden tirarlos y los propietarios los recogen y los ponen en uso allí, en fin, una visita de sanidad, seguramente ordenaría cerrar el lugar sobre la marcha y si la visita es de la compañía de la luz, después de ver las regletas llenas de cosas enchufadas por toda la casa ordenaría por seguridad la cancelación del suministro hasta que aquello se arreglara por el peligro tan grande que existe.

La estancia fue pésima. El sitio no reunía las mínimas condiciones de higiene y comodidad. La habitación situada al lado de un baño compartido que no paro en toda la noche de estar visitado por lo que no pudimos dormir nada. Además en el techo existía una claraboya sin protección ninguna para La Luz y pasamos mucho frío porque las camas no están condicionadas únicamente con una fina manta. El baño estaba muy sucio por lo que no nos pudimos duchar y además la habitación estaba llena de polvo y ceniza. Por todo ello exijo que se me reembolse el importe pagado por mi estancia ya que si no es así, acudiré a consumo para que valoren el establecimiento
