My experience at the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort was absolutely perfect, seamlessly blending business and leisure in a dreamlike location where every detail is meticulously cared for. From the beautifully maintained spaces to the impeccable cleanliness, the attention to detail is evident throughout. The staff's warm hospitality made me feel as though I were welcomed into a home, not just a hotel. The culinary experience and the breakfast were exceptional at Dama Dama Restaurant which is also open to public for dinner. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients truly elevated every meal, making dining here a delight. I can't wait to try also the Club House Restaurant Argentario - where I probably will go next week - as they all say it's delicious and I read it's also open to the public for lunch and dinner. The resort offers a modern concept of luxury, where the connection with nature brings us back to a sophisticated simplicity that, in my opinion, is the true essence of luxury. The wonderful landscape is a dream in the middle of a natural reserve with the sea all around and very close to the popular Giannella beach with its incredible sunsets and Feniglia beach under Ansedonia hill. From the Resort you are 5 minutes fro the main Argentario's attraction like also Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano, Orbetello and so on. It's a perfect spot for sport lovers as well as you can play padel, tennis and practise boat experiences which the hotel helps arranging. Of course a highlight of the Resort was also the amazing eco-friendly golf campus. The resort's commitment to sustainability extends to its golf course, which is designed with a deep respect for the environment. You can play surrounded by the stunning natural landscape, as an unforgettable experience that perfectly complements the resort’s philosophy of blending a new concept of real luxury with nature. Also, the modern Espace Wellness Center allows you to relax, to play the above sports and/or have you daily gym session with a super-equipment, to swim in internal or external swimming pools and to have special beauty treatments and nutrition plans. They have Comfort Zone products which are a top-quality brand that I only found in special 5-starred hotels around the world, with their unique aroma. I was pleased to discover that the resort is now part of the prestigious Autograph Collection Hotels. Known for its commitment to sustainability, the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort perfectly blends modern design with untouched nature. These unique qualities, combined with warm hospitality and authentic experiences, have earned the resort a place in Marriott International's dynamic portfolio of over 290 independent hotels, each selected for its individuality, craftsmanship, and distinctive vision of design and hospitality. If you search TripAdvisor for Saturnia, you will see several different ”properties”. And that's because there are. I would have thought that there were these hot springs with a resort built around it, but that is sort of the case and sort of not. In reality, the Saturnia hot springs have THREE different ”properties” all somewhat connected and all somewhat (confusingly) distinct. Here is my guide to them: PROPERTIES - 1. Saturnia Tuscany Hotel Resort 2. Saturnia Parco Thermal 3. Saturnal Thermal Springs PRICING - 1. Saturnia Tuscany Hotel Resort - pricey 2. Saturnia Parco Thermal - middle market 3. Saturnal Thermal Springs - FREE POOLS 1. Saturnia Tuscany Hotel Resort - Big swimming pool fed by original spring, with a natural (small rocks) bottom. Protected seating area around it. 2. Saturnia Parco Thermal - Multiple pools including an indoor one and one for children as well as a saune. All outdoors with no real protected seating. 3. Saturnal Thermal Springs - The Insta-iconic original. A public beach like place. Shallow, rocky and crowded. The Resort and the Parco are physically connected to each other and share a spa (with very weak massage treatments...no pressure, just slathering oil on you), but they are different commercial entities. So if you want a day in the ”thermal” (well, tepid) pools with ”magic algae”, then you have two choose between a package by one of these two different (but connected properties). Neither of these places are that near to the original and famous springs themselves (those are about a half mile drive down the road). In short, we don't regret visiting Saturnia. It was a good excuse and base from which to visit a bunch of lovely surrounding Tuscany sites (Pitigliano, Sovana, Montemerano), and we enjoyed playing a round of golf amidst the Tuscany countryside scenery (and the course is dog-friendly, so they get bonus points for that). But if you want to make a trip for some hot springs in Europe, Iceland and the Azores are miles better.
