Residence Vysta
4.2/513 Reviews
I chose this hotel because I needed accommodation near the Tipsport Arena, where I was at the evening concert. Residence Vysta was located directly opposite this arena, very close to the tram station. This was an accommodation for undemanding travelers. The equipment of my room was basic. It was clean there and although the hotel was located on a very busy street, there was quiet inside. The breakfast served on the ground floor was very simple but good. Check in and check out was quick, the staff was very nice.
Le Petit Hotel Prague

This hotel is basically a base only for sleep & a shower, its situated quite a way from the heart of the city, the good thing is the metro is 5 minutes walk from the hotel, the metro service is perfect & easy to navigate the city sights, the rooms are very cramped with little space like i said its basically a base only, overall the hotel served its purpose for our lovely prague trip❤️

Location: in the best hood of Prague, unless you mind taking a tram or walking uphill and you want to see only the superbusy attractions. Despite being between two wonderful park and one minute from the best view of the city, the view from the window is average. Facilities: Large living room, new furniture, wooden floor, nice shower. Many details are worth a visit: good heating, good mattress (maybe a bit too firm if you are thin or with back issues), no noise from outside despite facing a busy street, good curtains if you do not like too much light while sleeping, large bed, everything working in the kitchen, just some cleaning tools missing. Cleanliness: You can say cleaning staff is very good, everything is tidy, with the exception of extra blankets and some blood stains on the sheets (which I do not mind, it is clearly the case of stains not disappearing despite many laundries). Beware: at least in my room, while turning to the maximum the radiator in the bathroom, the pipes make an unbelievable noise, that would totally ruin your stay if you do not know what to do. No need to have such heating in the bathroom, but it is not easy to spot where the noise is coming from. Staff: efficient self-checkin, if you do not mind not meeting an actual receptionist/ owner. Safety: The place is big, it looks like there are many apar**ents and you see many men apparently staying there by themselves, maybe some of them long-term. At least in low-season than, it does not have the vibe of a normal touristic accommodation and could look a bit weird. But Prague in general, and this hood especially, are so safe, that I would not be worried even being a woman traveling alone. Price: very reasonable, not sure in high season. Covid safety: No advertisement of safety measure, no guests wearing masks inside. But it is normal in Czechia. A gel at the entrance. But if you rent a flat and you are alone, I do not see many measures that could be taken and if you stay in Prague, most of the places you would go are less safe, so all fine here. Why to go there: It has everything in the right place, clean with many not obvious good details. I would surely recommend it to my friends or go back. Why not to go there: it is not so fancy: if you need special furniture or a romantic view, you can find better or you can just go out to the Letna and Stromovka parks.
Hotel Olga

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. There wasn't any issue checking-in late in the night, choice of breakfast was wide and staff was nice. The hotel is located in really beautiful area of Holesovice with a massive park nearby and many shops, restaurants and pubs around. It's also very close to centre of Prague, around half an hour walking or only few minutes by electric scooters which are available to rent all around the city. We came to see the beautiful Prague and all we needed was a bed to sleep in, shower and toilet without paying hundreds of pounds for it. Hotel Olga is perfect choice when looking for affordable place to stay in Prague.
Mama Shelter Prague

My spouse, my friends, and I stayed 2 nights for Canada Day weekend at Mama Shelter prague. It's in a great location, short transit to old Town Prague with multiple ways of getting there. Bolt, scooters, tram, or even walking works as well. Staff was friendly, except for when we got back to our hotel room on Saturday night. The door was left open by house keeping and luckily nothing was stolen. A woman staff member at the front didn't believe what I told her, so we showed her and said something would be done about it. Upon checking out, there were no notes, and nothing was done. So definitely a lack of professionalism by the night staff. Breakfast was excellent with alot of choices. It's a buffet and is open from 7am to 1030am most days. Food was fresh and 0 issues. The room was clean and spacious. King size bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was okay, but could've been better. 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms. So it was a comfortable stay for us. Overall, definitely worth the money you pay to have everything included. I still believe the hotel parking should be included into the price like in North America.
Expo Hotel

This hotel was exactly as advertised on Booking.Com. It is not in Old Town, but just a few tram stops away. It is so seldom that you find a room for 3 adults…it was comfortable and so well priced, even though it was the Easter Weekend! It was a peak long weekend, so there were issues over breakfast time, but we ate in the restaurant at dinner time and enjoyed their delicious food and good service. A really good plus, is the parking garage for guests! The staff are also very friendly and helpful!
