Red Lion Hotel Pocatello

This hotel room was dirty unpon checkin, furniture was broken, a/c wouldn't turn off, floors were dirty, garbage was left. I told the property at check in and asked for a refund on the second night and they agreed as long as I did it through *******. Witha day and a half of run around from both ******* and the HotelI was told I wouldn't get a refund! VERY DISSAPOINTING, WON'T BE USING ******* OR RED LION AGAIN!

It was alright. Service was fine, breakfast was decent and clean. The hallways smell weird, but the room was acceptable.

So I thought our stay wasn’t the absolute worst, but there were a few things I didn’t like: Firstly, when I snuggled into the bed the first night, I felt something against my leg. Not sure how housekeeping missed it, but someone blew their nose into a napkin and shoved it under the sheets. Very gross. The bed itself was comfortable but I had a hard time sleeping after finding that. Secondly, the breakfast was ok. The bacon was burnt and the sausage had a funny taste. After what i found in the bed, I needed to take a shower in the morning. The curtain rod was bent down causing the curtain to pull into the center. Got water all over the place, luckily they gave plenty of towels but the rod should be tightened or otherwise fixed. Finally, I had to stay here due to a vehicle accident the day before. I tried asking for a late checkout since I wasn’t sure what time insurance or a rental would come thru. Of course, despite advertising late checkout options they had no availability for me. I even tried to book another night just so we could stay somewhere, but no extra rooms were available. I get it, there’s a limited amount of space. But I’m so sick of hotels saying you can checkout late, but then never actually having the option available. In conclusion, the bed and breakfast were gross. The shower seemed half baked. And they’ll swear up and down you can book another night or checkout late, but never actually come thru when you need it.

They were nice upgraded rooms. However finding our room was a struggling. The bathroom doors are horrible to close and open. The toilet was shaking when you sit on it.

The room has hard flooring in it which is fine except the bed frame is on casters so every time you move it rolls around. The fitted sheet had a blood stain on it. Not very big but definitely there. The sheets had obviously been washed and were fresh. The room had recently had a “face lift” where they had not painted places that hanging lights etc had been at one time. The bathroom had “stuff” not water stains but “stuff” on the ceiling. The shower head needed a good cleaning as did the walls in the shower. The pool was great as was the hot tub. The staff was courteous and helpful! It was fine for a one night stay, but I would t recommend if you are looking for an exquisite experience.

I booked my son into the hotel for gim to deal with medical appointments, and he told me that when arrived he was asked to pay another 40 dollars just in case something was broken. Even though it will be returned after they inspect the room, there was no info on the website when I booked. At breakfast the eggs as it was discribed by my son and DIL that they tasted nasty even with added seasoning. I have used this hotel on a few occasions and enjoyed it. Even though there are updates happening which is good the heating was hard to regulate. The pool was cold for an indoor pool. I will definitely will be reconsidering our own stay in the next few months.

Beds had sand and hair in them. Sheets were not clean. There was a Christmas party going on (a month after Christmas) well past midnight, and the manager did nothing to quiet them down, despite many rooms being able to hear the music and noise.

The room was very noisy because of all of the activity by the pool. The breakfast was terrible all carbs including powdered eggs.

The shower head was coming out of the wall and the heating unit was old and functioning improperly. Need to list hours of operation for restaurant
