had a really good time! only minor issue i had was with people saving chairs with their towels while they went swimming or just left. hard to find spots to sit especially with 5 people

It wasn’t enough workers to check us in. We waited hours to get checked in and then was told for an inconvenience. They’re going to upgrade our room which they did but we requested a two beds. We were told they didn’t have any more to bed rooms at the waiting room for another hour. They found a room with two beds.

WAYYYY too big! It's very confusing, and you're on your own as far as figuring it out. I have been to Mexico many times, and I would NOT recommend coming to this resort at all.

Grand Sunset Princess was amazing! The grounds are beautiful with LOTS of wildlife (monkeys, hogs, coatis, cats, deer, lizards, birds). So many pools and a large beach as well. Many food options. The taco stand by the pool was so delicious. For the restaurants, we really enjoyed Mama Mia and Hacienda! Rooms are large and have everything you need. The activities were fun and the staff did a great job keeping people entertained!

Overall our stay was good. The resort is large, with lots of pockets for everyone. Activities are listed on public boards. You definitely do need to make sure you have sun scream and get out somewhat early to get a lounger or spot on the beach or by the poolThey go quickly.The resort is clean and we'll taken care of. There's not a lot of clear direction you are left to figure things out on your own ask for a map they don't automatically give you one.

The resort was really nice and so was the poolside room! You can enjoy the pools or the beach, quiet or rowdy there's spaces for everyone. The buffet food was ok, but it's an all inclusive. I'm not expecting 5 star restaurants. The specialty restaurants were definitely better. If you're interested, book them on arrival or they fill up. Off resort we spent a day at XCaret and loved it! And another day along 5th ave in Playa del Carmen which was also really great. Overall, we had a really good get away!

We liked how the property was situated, the rooms were awesome very big . property was very clean. the wild life was nice to see. However if you can make reservations before checking in for a restaurant especially MISO you should. We checked in in the morning and were told they were all booked, but if you go in person they will try to accommodate you NOT, we did and were told give me 15 minutes well that turned into 1.5 hours of waiting and still no acknowledgment so to the buffet we went. The buffet was picked over empty food trays very messy very displeasing, Again with MISO the second night just for a regular table for sushi we were met with do you have a reservation, "mine you alot of empty tables "I replied no the answer received sorry kitchen closed . people were still being sat at this time. complaint to manager on duty at front desk was not handled very professional. all in all resort is beautiful however the food and drinks were low quality. If your not with family or children I recommend upgrading to the Yucatan side of the resort its quieter and you still haves of the whole resort to use. there were a lot of children.
