It is well located and protected place. Foods are amazing and there are too many different kinds. Pool is nice. It only needs a better beach. Not for a beach holiday but others are really good.

It was very disappointing in the evening's.One bartender and a line to get a drink.And the bar closed at 12.

We arrived late in the evening on a Thursday to find that there was no hot water for a shower. The next morning we were woken up by construction noise right above our room! After speaking with the concierge, we were moved to another room that also did not have hot water but we did not have construction noise. The resort is older and made of stone and tile which allows lots of noise.
No hot water for three days!
I was extremely disappointed that 3 days out of our 6 day stay there was no hot water. After complaining 3 time they finally sent a maintenance technician to our room to turn up the hot water. In order to get a warm shower you had to run the water for 15 minutes.
The staff was empathetic but did nothing for the first 2 days only stating that they were working on the issue.
Getting a pool chair was ridiculous! People saving chairs at 9:00 am and staff did nothing about it even though there were signs posted that it was not okay to save chairs. We did rent a pool cabana for a day and felt that it was worth the $79 for the day because you get bottle service with the rental and it was for all day.
The restaurants had decent options. Our favorites were Brasas and the Italian restaurant. The grab and go area is as lacking and wasn’t open prior to 8am which would have been nice especially on days that we had excursions.
The beach area is very small and was loaded with stinky sea****.
Every evening there was some type of entertainment available which was fun!

The beach near the pool was small beautiful view just small. The food could be much better in buffet and restaurant could be alittle better. Other resorts use premium alcohol they want you to pay more for that. The crew was outstanding. As well as the coffee bar. The entertainment was alright felt it could have been a bit more scandalous due to it being adult only. All in all a good mid level hotel resort but not a top tier resort. For the price point it was fun. They did set us up with two vary amazing excursions that were vary privet and affordable a grate bang for your buck

The buffet was actually great for an all-inclusive. Lots of options and they changed it up every day at least some. The waiters/bartenders are highly motivated by tips. We were ignored until they realized we do tip and then we received good service. They definitely treated the white people (myself) differently than the Mexicans I was traveling with which was deplorable but unfortunately, my companions are used to it. The entertainment crew is great. We were not given the cards for towels at check-in so that caused issues at the pool. There was no hot water Thursday or Friday of our stay. The place is smaller - which we loved. You don't have to hike to the restaurants. 5th Ave was awesome and is super walkable. The ADO but station is walkable as well. The pool has potential but there is no seating. Lots of cabanas that cost but nothing for us peasants.

Room was clean, place is not my vibe. Concrete high rise building with NO beach. If you want to sit on the sand, you have to exit the property and go to the other side of the pier and use a public beach.
There is one mail pool- loud music, party with foam bubbles, music didn’t stop for long time. We checked in at 12pm- all of the pool chairs were full or “reserved” with towels. The other pool is on the street side 2nd floor- all concrete surroundings- not appealing. Waiters were fine as was check in staff. If you are looking for a college spring break and you are in your 40s-60s this place is great
