If you want to explore the ancient town of Pingyao, then this hotel is fantastic. It's 15mins away from the high speed railway. They pick up and drop out off outside the city. With the covid regulations in place, the hotel supported me through the process and helped me gain entry into the city. I was then collected and driven to the hotel. Check-in was smooth and the lady helped me to book tickets for the Pingyao theatre show at the same time. I received a free upgrade from a double room to a suite. All in all, a fantastic holiday, and a great experience.

Pingyao Hotel is worthy of being a five-star B&B. Not to mention the environment, the service is also very warm and thoughtful. The office manager contacted us in advance to confirm the pick-up time. Unfortunately, our high-speed train was temporarily canceled and we had to get off at a nearby county. Manager Zhang at the front desk was worried that we would not be able to get a ride at night, so he personally came to pick us up at the cost price. The four best travel photography studios in the ancient city all took pictures at the hotel. Because I suddenly sprained my waist and couldn't take the photo, Manager Zhang specially helped me coordinate with the travel photography shop, and even offered to take me to the hospital, which was touching.

The location is invincible and very close to Pingyao, you can walk into the ancient city, and it is not a problem to renovate 1k+ for one night. The lobby is OK, the room is old, and it is still at the level of a star hotel for a few years. Before I checked in, I gave my mother a heart prevention and said that I lived in Pingyao was relatively poor. I didn't expect my mother to accept it well. The room looked clean and the service was really not good. I called the front desk TV to ask if I could cast the screen. The front desk said that the TV was new and they didn't know that I was asked to fumble it myself. This is not a thing. The room didn't even draw paper. There was a roll of paper. I called the front desk and asked me to call the housekeeping department or whatever department and hung up the phone. I hung up the phone directly! I live in two hundred fast chain people will ask me what else I need help. I called 7 to find the housekeeping department as she said, and no one answered it several times! Finally, I went downstairs to the front desk. The front desk said to help us ask. It took a long time for an aunt to send a roll of paper. There is also a problem that the wall of the bathroom uses transparent glass, which is glued to a layer of frosted, and the sticky is too high, higher than the toilet! In the room, you can see the situation of bathing and toileting in the bathroom without even lying down. It is really embarrassing!

Fantastic ancient Chinese lodging with modern amenities. You get the chance to sleep on a Luohan bed. The room is a suite! Within Pingyao walled city, it was easy to go to visit the sites. The lady owner gave me a map. Even though I speak no Chinese and they speak no English, we were able to communicate using a translator app. She recommended a restaurant when I asked. They made the utmost effort to make your stay enjoyable. The owner took me to the railway station when I left. P.S. Best to download MAPS.ME as it will work offline. Google Maps does not work in China. The taxi will drop you outside the city wall and you can ride the shuttle to the hotel. Make sure you got the Chinese address. Also same possible, install the Wechat app as it is used widely in China - you text in English they translate to Chinese and vice versa.

Gucheng South Street is the main street, and business clothes are brightly lit at night and lively and bustling. Our family of three lives in a triple room. In the morning, the waiter also called us to ask us whether to choose three single beds or one pair, and told us to drive carefully and not to worry. At the time of check-in, there is also a waiter who helps with luggage and informs the travel information. The ancient city of Pingyao needs to make an appointment in advance. We gave us the QR code for the appointment. The operation is a little more complicated. It is recommended to complete it in the hotel. Breakfast is generally Chinese, not hearty, but it’s okay to have a full meal. It is also very rare to consider a three-person breakfast in a triple room. The most satisfying part of this trip is the hotel's resident tour guide, Dong Mei, who is several times stronger than those uniformly dressed. Seeing that most of the tour guides have a weak voice, our teacher Dong speaks very standard Mandarin and has a loud voice, very enthusiastic, meticulous explanation, and cultural heritage. The ancient city culture is introduced from the battery car, and the whole process is full Passionate work, highly recommended. We went to the main attractions with one pass. In August, the family arrived on the third floor of the ancient city of Pingyao. Although it was dusty outside, the small courtyard was quiet and peaceful.
