Having not being able to travel to Asia for almost 2 years i was happy to take part of the ”Phuket Sandbox”. Lots of paperwork to do, but all in all it worked well. BOOKING. I booked direct with the hotel. I was offered a good price and they were answering all my questions fast and friendly. Also they were very helpful informing me about the rules and changes for the Sandbox. ARRIVAL The booked SHA Plus Transfer from the hotel worked well. Check in was fast and after a long flight i was just happy to get to my villa. ROOM/VILLA So spacious. I booked a 1 bedroom Villa, But became a villa with 2 bedrooms. Large and comfortable living Room with a fuly equipped kitchen and a large refrigirator and fridge. Well assorted minibar. Bedroom with a very comfortable double bed. Bathroom with bathtub and shower. I had a small issue with not having hot water but it was fixed immediatly. Large terrace with table and 4 chairs, 2 sunbeds and a swimming pool (6 x 3 Meter). Villa was clean and terrace/garden well maintained. SERVICE All the staff were sweet, kind and friendly and very attentive. The very friendly italian manager is always around FOOD Not many guests in the hotel so no full breakfast buffet, but you could order eggs any style. Some fruit, cereals, coffe and tea- One morning the manager asked me if i missed something for breakfast. I said maybe some muesli and yogurt. Well next morning it was there. Perfect. I had often dinner in the restaurant. Food was so tasty and well presented. And at very reasonable prices. They do serve both western and Thai food. AREA/SURROUNDINGS Paklok is not a typical tourist spot.It is a place where people are living. No beach, Not a shop or restaurant on every corner. But many possibilities to enjoy fantastic street food. Easy to get in touch with local people. Many supermarkets for all your daily needs. You do need a car or a Scooter/Motorbike. Nature around the hotel is stunning and beautiful. I rented a mototbike from the hotel and made many trips to beautiful locations in the area. I never missed the noise from Patong. ALL IN ALL If you are looking for a peaceful and luxurious accomodation with good service and food i can highly recommand Boutique Resort. I also did enjoy the beauty of nature and the feeling of being in the real Thailand and not just in noisy tourist area.

”Nice view, nice room, great service” The room is clean at a good level. The day we went to rest was raining. Atmosphere and cool weather In the morning, wake up and breathe fresh air. There is a private pool. delicious breakfast Good service staff recommend tourist attractions as well. Private villas, quiet, not loud, like very much. There are many beautiful photo corners in the villa. The more views on the hill, see the sea view. It's very good.

This hotel was stayed in March 2020. Very remote place where taxi drivers don't even like to go. If you order a taxi to the recipes, it costs 900 baht to the Kamala beach, through the Thai Crab application, the order of a taxi is worth from 700-850 baht depending on the time of order. If you rent a car or a bike, it will be easier. Why it was necessary to go to a taxi: The first beach!!! In this area in principle it is not in the nearest neighborhood!!! Since there is the port of Phuket and when the water goes down, the coast is a complete top and Tina, the sand is not at all. We decided to check the other side of this area and there is the same situation. Second infrastructure!!! The nearest decent shop is 5 km from the hotel. There is one shop in this village, but there is nothing to sell, basically no bread to buy. On Saturday and Sunday the evening market works, it is 5-10 tents where you can buy things not first freshness, drinks, roasted food. This is all there is in the district!!!! Now about the hotel: territory small, swimming pool, bar restaurant. The rooms are large two-story, they have everything basic. Cleaning on Monday and Thursday. The bad thing is that there are mosquitoes in the room brought us a spiral from the Komars))). Only 5-8 person was seen from the residents. And the most unpleasant thing is that we stole money from the wallet that was in a backpack with a locked pocket, The robber left us 150 bats when it happened we didn't understand. The backpack stood near the lieutenants, we were 10 meters away from them playing tennis. There was a woman sunshine near the pool and then the waitress was cleaning the glasses near the lieutenants. When we noticed the missing contacted the administrator to see the cameras, but unfortunately none were sent to the pool, well or they said so specifically (((() The point was not to call the police, there was no evidence who did it. We recommended to write The letter to the general manager, wrote, but the answer never followed ((. It is not our first trip and a bunch of hotels have seen, but it hasn't been so yet!!!

My friend and I stayed here as part of the included accommodation while volunteering for a week at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary. It’s a freshly remodeled hotel with clean, spacious bedrooms and private baths. Each room has its own balcony which is lovely. Comfortable beds and air conditioning. The staff was kind and provides bottled water every day, with extra upon request free of charge. The Dee Cafe downstairs is wonderful and a must while staying here for breakfast and lunch (they close at 5pm so on-site dinner options were a bit limited). The only drawback is there is no coffee or tea provided in the rooms so you have to buy it downstairs in the cafe if you crave a morning caffeine fix. The same staff tends to the front desk as the cafe so often the front desk was empty, but there is a phone number posted on the door in case you need assistance. Also, heads up that the walls are thin so everyone can hear any noise from the bedroom and bathroom! Quiet is highly encouraged.

We booked this place as we landed late into Phuket and were heading to Koh Yao Noi the following day. I booked it because of its proximity to the pier, but having spent a night there I would have happily spent more! Lovely huge room, spotlessly clean and had all of the modcons. Owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering us fruit and snacks free of charge for breakfast and driving us to the pier for free too! Definitely recommend.

An Introduction to Phuket

Phuket, Thailand's largest island, lies off the country's southwestern coast in the Andaman Sea. Known for its idyllic beaches, vibrant nightlife, and rich cultural heritage, Phuket is a favorite destination for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. The island boasts a myriad of activities, from exploring historic Old Phuket Town to diving in the surrounding clear waters teeming with marine life.

Travelling to Phuket: What You Need to Know

Phuket International Airport, the island's main gateway, receives flights from around the world. Taxis, buses, and car rental services are readily available for transport to the city and resorts.

The official currency is the Thai Baht (THB), and Thai is the primary language spoken. However, English is widely understood in tourist areas. Thailand allows visa-free entry for citizens of numerous countries for tourism purposes, up to 30 days. Always verify your specific visa requirements before travel.

Unmissable Attractions in Phuket

Your Phuket adventure is incomplete without a visit to Patong Beach, the island's most famous beach known for its water activities and nightlife. Explore the culturally rich streets of Old Phuket Town, dotted with colorful Sino-Portuguese buildings.

The Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, Phuket's largest Buddhist temple, are important cultural sites. For a unique island experience, a boat tour to the stunning Phi Phi Islands or Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its limestone cliffs and emerald-green waters, is highly recommended.

Weather & Best Time to Visit Phuket

Phuket enjoys a tropical monsoon climate, with temperatures hovering between 23°C to 33°C all year round. The best time to visit is during the dry season, from November to April, when the seas are calm and clear, perfect for beach activities and diving. It's advisable to pack light, breathable clothing, along with swimwear and sun protection.
