Mai Kao Beach Phuket|2.42km from Sai Kaew Beach
It is 17km from the airport and it takes about 17 minutes to get on the bus. Since the plane lands relatively late, it is very suitable to be nearby with the elderly and children. The two-bedroom and one-living room with a kitchen is suitable for us. There is a 711 opposite the hotel, but there is no food. There is a supermarket on the first floor of the nearby Turtle Village Shopping Center-1 where you can buy vegetables and seasonings, but there is no seafood. The facilities are a bit old, but the health and service are in line with 5-star standards. The sea is 2 minutes away from the room. It is very clean and there are not many people. The sand is not as fine as Wanning Shimei Bay, but it is still very good. There are 2 swimming pools, one of which is for children, and free popsicles are provided. The children are happy, haha The order does not include breakfast. I only bought breakfast on the first day. The restaurant is not big, so it is okay. The most popular place to eat is the Cafe on the first floor, which is okay, but the wait can be a bit long when there are many people. The price is a 5-star price, which is acceptable. There are company activities here almost every night, and I saw the dance for free The staff's service was very good. I went to the next hotel to call a taxi or mini bus. The driver was good, the bus was clean, and the price was reasonable. A little over an hour’s drive costs 1500🐷. All in all, highly recommended. The price/performance ratio is very high.

It is a farmhouse hotel. The environment is not bad. The room is a sheet room. There is no hot bath (Thailand is a common problem. The room temperature water has not lived in thousands of RMB). The reception staff is not good. It is estimated that they can't speak English and don't know the things booked online. The most important thing is to check out and ask me what I pass. I have stayed in a hotel in Thailand for so many times. I can’t figure it out. Later, I found out that I asked me what platform I booked. I said that trip point.com people just don’t know if they have learned some knowledge. I have to read dot or Trip.com is not as well-known as agoda. Otherwise, I can guess it. Unhappy, I found an excuse to leave the big things in the room. I have to come to the key and take the tip that was originally placed on the bedside table back. I have lived for more than half a month and spent less.

A surprise hotel during this trip to Phuket. The two-bedroom suite can accommodate exactly six people. Although the hotel is not new, it maintains Marriott standards in every aspect. The hotel is not directly facing the sea, but it provides a five-minute shuttle bus that can go to the JW Marriott beach next door at any time. Some paid services can also be settled directly by reporting the room number.

Love all the activities on offer at this resort - great pool(s) with slide, convenient to go to the beach and had complimentary beach activities too (kayak, stand up paddle board etc.). Lots of things to do in and around, didn't even need to leave the hotel at all. Love the turtle shelter and getting to feed the turtles was a fun thing to do. Clean rooms and sheets, great job done by housekeeping overall. Breakfast spread was great too, and so was Cucina and the bistro downstairs. A bit out of the way if visiting Patong/ Phuket Old Town/ malls but didn't really need any of that when the resort was so self-containing. Loved our short getaway and 100% will be back.

Weather & Best Time to Visit Phuket

Phuket enjoys a tropical monsoon climate, with temperatures hovering between 23°C to 33°C all year round.
