Orchid Garden Hotel

The hotel is not bad. Value for money. We had a room on the third floor with a small balcony overlooking the neighboring hotel and the mountains. Opposite is a wholesale warehouse and alcohol store. In the morning, a lot of cars and bikes arrived. The noise made it a little difficult to sleep. Overall, everything was fine. It was about 10 minutes to the sea, 15-20 minutes to Jungceylon, it was a bit hard in the heat, especially if you were walking back with bags. I didn't like the sea at all. It can't be compared to Karon. The water is not just dirty, but yellow because of the sand and shallow water. It's a long walk to the deep end, it's unpleasant to come into contact with the seaweed. Then it's hard to wash the sand out of your underwear, it somehow gets between the fabrics of your swimsuit))))) but that's not about the hotel. The hotel felt secluded, we didn't encounter other vacationers. The staff tried to help solve problems. But the language barrier probably got in the way. I asked to put a sheet and blanket on my daughter's sofa, she wanted to sleep separately. They refused, or maybe they didn't understand me. The mosquitoes bit my child badly. But I don't know if this is a question for the hotel or just for the nature of Thailand. Overall, the hotel is normal, the staff is good. But I won't go back to Patong.

The room is very clean and has toiletries. The front desk is friendly. The location is quiet. There are many restaurants near Patong Beach in about ten minutes. It is not far from Jungceylon Shopping Center. I will stay here next time.

Great hotel! Great location! Lots of restaurants nearby, gorgeous massage opposite. For many it will be a plus, there is a wholesale warehouse of alcohol nearby)) The prices and selection are very nice!

An honest review. The hotel is bad. Let's start with the check-in. We waited for a long time, they didn't offer us a drink, they didn't offer to leave our bags and go for a walk (as normal hotels usually do). The service is zero. The room is normal in general. There is no bath (only a shower), the toilet seat doesn't work well, the air conditioner blows in one spot. The audibility is terrible. There is some smelly river flowing nearby. Breakfast is NOT a buffet, you order, wait half an hour until they cook (or bring, I don't understand) an omelet, fried eggs, pancakes and the like to choose from. There is a small pool, but this does not save the situation. The sea is not close. A stop for 1-2 days is acceptable for those who want to walk around shopping centers or Bangla Road, nothing more. Not suitable for a vacation.
