Excellent stay from beginning to end! Property was ideally located right outside the city and adjacent to the University of Penn. I really appreciated the adequate supply of good restaurants and the youthful vibe. Deno at the front desk was professional, personable, affable, knowledgeable and accommodating. I came in earlier than check in time due to a red eye flight that I had taken. He gave me a room that just happened to be cleaned and available. Thanks that allowed me to catch up on a couple hours of sleep which really helped make a difference in my tripđđ Breakfast was excellent! I will definitely return and this is from a 13 year former head-waiter at a Ritz Carlton in California who knows what service is about. Great job again for exceeding my expectations!!đđđ

Friendly staff, clean room... contemporary design in the room, but the bathroom felt a little dated to me. Nicely decorated, but definitely saw clues of where the building and room was on the older side... for example, we had 4 ppl staying in the room, but there was no place to hang used bath towels in the bathroom... so we hung towels in the closet on hangers. Weird right? The hotel was generally nice, but a few quirks kinda got under my skin. First, we did self parking and while there is a garage in the building (convenient) the signage for where to park is vague at best. Eventually we found an employee who told us we could park on the first floor (closest to street) - but in spots marked as âreservedâ... of course this happened after we drove all the way to the bottom of the garage, looking for âWestin guests park hereâ signs. Secondly, we were there on a long weekend and wanted to do some sightseeing. It was a healthy 15-20 min walk to the Reading Terminal Market (a comfortable walk around/through City Hall), and we had to drive to Chinatown. On this particular trip to Philly we didn't visit Independence Hall, but that isn't close either. Nice place, but there are definitely more convenient hotels for tourists.

Ben and Sam were amazing! Thanks for a great stay. Room was clean. Bed was very comfy. Housekeeping staff were very rude. Only negative during our stay. We paid for late checkout but they were very aggressive at our door all morning so donât pay for late checkout if you donât absolutely have to.

Room is very spacious and clean with good views. Filtered water is also provided via tap (on the left). Price is very worth for the room space and hotel staff service - friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average but no complaints!
Note : there are quite a number of connecting rooms but hotel staff was very helpful and willing to change room if you are uncomfortable with a connecting room allocation.

My partner really enjoyed this hotel. He slept for over 12 hours.. haha that explains the whole story. The swimming pool was really nice too so we had fun in the morning. Also they give you water bottle. Nice hotel to stay over if you are visiting around.

The hotel is exactly what you would expect - a Hampton Inn in the middle of a large city. Parts of the neighborhood around it are not that great but it is almost adjacent to the convention center and I always felt safe. The hotel staff/security are very visible at all times. What makes this an excellent rating for me is the staff. The staff at this hotel are TOP NOTCH! Every single employee was kind, caring, and engaging. A shout out to Kevin who helped me get receipts together for submitting for business expenses. They even mailed a sweater to me that I left behind. Just can't say enough about the wonderful customer service at this hotel.

This is the first time I stayed in Philadelphia. The hotel is renovated from an old building. The location is invincible, the decoration is exquisite, and the breakfast is delicious. I haven't been to the beautiful country for four years. I found that their service is learning from Asian hotels, and the improvement is quite obvious.

First of all, the location is excellent, in the city center, near the 12th Street, near the Philadelphia City Hall, take the train from the airport đ to the JEFFERSON station, take a few steps, opposite the hotel is a century-old market, all countries have food, very lively, hotel room is large (family room), Pots and pans/tableware/microwave/toast stove/coffee maker/refrigerator/dishwasher, etc. are all available, but the hotel includes a buffet breakfast, so these cookers are useless. . .
Chinatown is on 9th Street, within walking distance, and the dining is more authentic. . .
But most malls in Philadelphia close at 19:00, and go back to the hotel before dark, try not to stay outside! !

The sound insulation was bad, can heard the water pipe, the people in the hallway, and the outside cars. If you are a quite sleeper, don't choice here. Overall the value of the cost is okay. The parking charge is not that reasonable.

KKateâs AdventuresOur experience at The Franklin on Rittenhouse was absolutely amazing.
We were greeted by John and another sweet woman at the front desk, and they were so kind and helpful.
We stayed in âThe Monarchâ room on the first floor. It is a very comfortable and romantic room. It was also extremely clean and updated! I loved the rainfall style shower as well.
While booking the room, I mentioned that we were celebrating my girlfriendâs birthday, and the hotel we so kind to write her a card and left chocolates on the bed.
It was such a thoughtful gesture.

GGuest UserI understand that the property had been renovated. The room looked okay, I found dried crusty blood stains on the bedsheets. The room walls are thin, needless to say everyone screaming at each other in the room next door (probably high on **** and alcohol) at 1 am in the morning is my nightly entertainment? Only 2 sets of towels and this new eco-friendly policy means you don't get any new towels unless you ask and then nobody shows up. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken, I had to flush the toilet a couple of times for it to work. The shower is nice and spacious. The cleaning crew must have been understaffed, because there was mold in between the shower tiles. There is no functioning ventilation in the bathroom. The air conditioning, when and if it works, is super loud. Upon arrival it was set to 72, I tried changing it to 68, but it jumped back to 72. TV was working, unlike the remote, some keys were just dead. The room smelled musty. No microwave, the fridge was not cooling either. I thought maybe the ice machine on the 5th floor could cool my water down a little. Come to find out that the ice machine wasn't working and from the looks of it, it never has! Also, the ice machine room looks like World War 2 has left its mark. The ceiling is about to fall down and it's dirty. The hallway has nice carpet but again, the cleaning crew might not be fully staffed and dirty fries were left all over the hallway (5th floor). I see that the hotel has a non-smoking policy. This may apparently only apply to cigarettes. Floor 5 and 12 reek of ********* so badly, it creeps into the rooms and makes a good night sleep close to impossible. It's not a whiff you get from someone who has recently smoked walking by, it comes from the rooms. It is utterly disgusting and Hilton should be ashamed. The staff at the front desk is jaded and rude, I'd be too if I had to deal with what's coming through that hotel. Breakfast doesn't open until 7am which didn't work for us because we came for a business trip and had to leave the hotel by 7am. Also, breakfast is not included in the $700 for 2 nights. Instead you choose from 3 or 4 overpriced omelets from a menu. $40 for 2 mini omelets and a cup of coffee. It didn't taste too bad but that price is not justified. Also, the breakfast room is way too dark. I could barely see the food in front of me. Parking is an insult to be honest. Philly is not a safe city and for $700 for 2 nights I would have expected parking at the hotel or at least covered parking that is being monitored at no extra charge. Instead, you can drive 1500 yards down the road to an open parking lot that will cost you $13 a night ($15 if you use a valet). It is not monitored, no security and any random person can walk in there and wreak havoc. Shameful. Overall, not a Hilton experience, for the price I paid I would have expected service which I didn't get. Never again and I am hoping other Hilton properties aren't so shameful.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the city center, with a good location. You can see the City Hall building when you go out, and the concert hall is opposite. I didn't dare to go out at night, so I just sat in the lobby and watched the hustle and bustle of people. The hygiene of foreign hotels is OK, but the facilities and services are still far behind those of domestic hotels of the same level.

銏銏The road in front of the hotel has a main road and a secondary road with a separation belt in the middle. Baidu navigation has always been prompted to sit on the road, the result has been walking on the left main road, eyes can not enter the hotel, have to turn back. The room was clean and the service was good. No coffee pot, no hot water, instant noodles can't be soaked. The left hand of the hotel is not far from the intersection. There is a Chinese-opened restaurant. It is good to pay for food by self-service.
