DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City

The hotel is in the urban area, so traveling is very convenient. You can park in the parking lot at the back door of the hotel. The center of Philadelphia is not big, so it is convenient for exploring the city scenery.

Ctrip set, go to booking. The front desk is very convenient, it is not clear where my name is. The breakfast was quite good, the eggs and the fruit were very good. The streets are relatively clean, I am easy to turn, I have to rely on navigation😂

Good place in a lovely area, with simple breakfast - coffee, bagels, yogurts and fruits. They do not have a gym room anymore. Very interesting historical building. Friendly stuff. A bit old carpets on the floor.

Traveled to Philadelphia on a college visit with my fam. I had not stayed in an apartment hotel concept before. Check-in was a matter of entering your code on a digital keypad. The room & location were great. Decor was modern & everything was clean. The TV has Chromecast capabilities, and when I couldn’t figure it out I live chatted on the Sonder app & got the help I needed. You really feel you are just staying in an apartment building. With that said, there is no security presence, so you must be smart, aware and make sure the security door to the street closes completely behind you. The neighborhood is very walkable with great restaurants and colorful nightlife. Reading Terminal Market is about a 10min walk. If you are someone who likes to see and be tended to by property staff, this is not the concept for you. You will also have to figure out parking for yourself. There are several garages & lots nearby so it wasn’t a major problem. We parked in a garage in the next block. Overall it was a no-hassle stay. I will definitely be seeking out Sonder’s other locations nationwide & internationally.
The Franklin on Rittenhouse, A Boutique Hotel

Our experience at The Franklin on Rittenhouse was absolutely amazing. We were greeted by John and another sweet woman at the front desk, and they were so kind and helpful. We stayed in “The Monarch” room on the first floor. It is a very comfortable and romantic room. It was also extremely clean and updated! I loved the rainfall style shower as well. While booking the room, I mentioned that we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, and the hotel we so kind to write her a card and left chocolates on the bed. It was such a thoughtful gesture. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here. I highly recommend booking your stay here if you are looking for an amazing boutique hotel experience.

One of the bedsheets is very dirty, full of black stuff and hairs, obviously not cleaned or changed after the previous guest. Good thing is there are fridge and microwave in the room. Lobby is at second level.
