However, due to outdated facilities, such as the bathroom, the water contains sediment, causing itchiness after showers. 3. There is no water dispenser, and using bottled water is not environmentally friendly. 4. The gym and some parts of the building are under renovation, resulting in noise pollution.

Near Patan, the service is very good, there is air conditioning, the surrounding is very convenient, there are big shopping malls and small supermarkets, there is a small bookstore nearby, there are many restaurants around. The top floor of the hotel is a terrace bar, the scenery is beautiful, you can walk to Patan Palace. The price is slightly higher than the surrounding area, but it is worth it.

Shaligram was the perfect base to explored Nepal! I would definitely stay again as the location of the hotel is in Patan which is away from the noise and business of places such as Thamel yet is still close to landmarks and cultural sites. We could get to any desired place in Kathmandu within 30 minutes and in our opinion the Patan area was better kept in terms of infrastructure and pollution. The staff were very attentive and the rooms and amenities speak for themselves. They have beautiful 360 views of the city and hills/ mountains and the gym and heated spa/ pool area were great!

The hotel is very clean and tidy, especially very quiet, the furnishings are artistic, and most of the guests are European tourists. Through the window, you can see a small playground opposite, and the children are swinging on the swing happily. The hotel has a small elegant garden and a well-equipped dining room where you can make your own cup of Marsala tea or order an affordable meal. The most important thing is that the rooms here have screens, no mosquitoes come in, and you can sleep very securely. My daughter is ill, and I received a very considerate care here, from the boss to every service staff will ask with concern what help is needed! I like it very much, it has left me a good memory here!
