The unit shares an atrium with other properties of which on this level it is easy to access others units. This is an older apar**ent remodeled to keep the character of the apar**ent as it was. Wooden windows with an old fashioned locking system seals the room from others on the same floor. The A/C is a mobile model that requires the window to be open for the exhaust tube. But to be fair, we didn't use the A/C much even in Aug. The sleeper sofa though having a thicker mattress than the original (doesn't fold away), was bumpy and very uncomfortable. The main bed was very comfortable. Be sure to ask for the access instructions in advance to your arrival. We received no advanced email with the lock box code or where exactly the room was in the building. You will have to walk maybe 10 min to the nearest metro station. It is an upper scale part of town near the Champs Elysee in the residential area. So few restaurants, but pricey. If you are looking for quite, then this is the place. There's a tub and shower as seen in the photos, but we weren't encouraged by the looks of the tub to use it. If you are familiar with Maison Du Monde, the whole apar**ent is outfitted with Maison Du Monde accessories and decor.
