Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort and Spa

I took my 25 year old daughter and her boyfriend fir a trip after her graduation! We met my friends who live near the Tideline. I absolutely loved the beach and staying right on the beach. It was breathtaking!!! The service was incredible! I really loved Dean, CJ, and Devon. Everyone was wonderful!!! I would definitely go back again. A week was not long enough for this beach bunny. Terrible experience. Great photos on their site but beware the reality. The front desk girl was not smiling at all when I arrived. She was cold and not interested about ME the CUSTOMER!!Got a charge of$20/day for parking, when you park yourself and the lot is empty!!! The first room I was assigned had a lock problem…lock on the door didn’t close properly. Wanted to watch TV around 20 pm, my second room had no TV remote control. Beat up looking ocean terrace. Staff bored like I’ve never seen before. Really…. Do not spend any $$ there. Go somewhere else.

Great room. Nice reception staff and very helpful. Pool is great and beach amazing Atmosphere poor. Restaurant and bar good and drink great but no ambience and restaurant staff no smiles. Gym weird. No mats or rollers and nice locker room except found alcohol cans and bottle in there one morning. One toilet not flushed Asked for band aid and none available until pool attendant raided kitchen for some. Behavior with loud people on speaker phone and one smoking not attended to until complaint. We had a great time though in this well refurbished hotel. Just needs events and atmosphere and consistent behavior of staff

I came here for a milestone birthday celebration. When I arrived, the valet person was on their phones and didn't care much to help. When I got to my room, everything was very cute, "updated", until I noticed that there were still screw holes not patched up, coffee make didn't work, refrigerator didn't work and was moldy. That wasn't even the worst part. I noticed garbage in the drawer and here it comes, there was like shaved hair on the shower walls. Not sure how housekeeping missed that, but it grossed me out. Went downstairs to show pictures but unfortunately no room were available to switch too. The "manager" was supposed to get back to me but he/she never did. I had to repeatedly ask for help. When I finally did get help, I was replaced with another nonfunctioning coffee maker and the mold in the fridge was still there. The only thing I got offered was that I will not be charged a resort fee of like $50. I had 4 rooms booked and some of us just chalked it up to "whatever". The gym was no better. I was very excited to see brand new Peloton bikes but there were clip on only. When I asked for the shoes, they were still waiting for them to arrive. Not sure how that happens as it comes in a bundle. There were not mats to use, so you had to use towels for mats. It was definitely run down but there remodel is still needs work. Housekeeping and the manager gets in at 9am and ends like at 6 pm. Needless to say I will NOT coming back. There is a few redeeming qualities, such as it's ON THE BEACH and the food and service at the restaurant was amazing. If they want to make more money. they should invest in some covered cabana beds like their next door neighbor, the Four Seasons. Usually I don't write reviews, good or bad but to me this was really bad as the Manager did not reach out to me at all and a credit for resort fees is a joke.

Overpriced and falls short of its rating by a mile. It’s essentially a 3 star hotel on the beach. Beach and location are beautiful but that’s where it stops. Had a disastrous check-in (said they would call or text when room was ready and never did; downgraded us only to find out our room was available all along). Suite didn’t even have a full length mirror. Would not recommend.

This is very difficult for me as I have never given a negative review...until now. My wife recently took her 83 year old dad and our daughter to visit family in West Palm. She found a rate on Instagram for this recently reopened hotel. She booked the room and off they went. Upon arriving, the rate was not honored nor would anyone contact a manager. In one of the two rooms was her Dad. He entered his room and found a flood in his bathroom from a leaky ceiling. He was escorted to anther room that had a faulty patio door (would not lock) and the television was not working. Maintenance was called and never showed. This 83 year old man stayed in a room with no television for three days. We have been trying to contact a manager (any manager) since March 9th to no avail. Do not go to this hotel. They will not honor a rate, fix your room or have the decency to contact you at all.

You have got to be kidding me. Who enjoys this place? Children screaming MARCO POLO for hours, 3 straight days. Loudest pool atmosphere I have encountered at a hotel. I like to hear children having fun, but this was out of control. The worst part was these kids were part of families who weren’t even guests at Tideline. Nobody is watching the pool, the towel attendant showed up once to add towels, no service, you are on your own. I could hear the screaming children from inside my room. If you live near Palm Beach and want a free day at the pool with as many kids as you can round up, then Tideline is perfect.

I am only reviewing the spa. Tideline recently completed a multi million dollar renovation or so I thought. Although a lighter palate, I did not notice a big difference in the lobby. Apparantly NOTHING was done to spa or locker rooms. The lockers do not have locks and I was told to leave my belongings at my own risk, so I brought my purse and valuables into the massage room. The spa is untouched and the locker rooms are dirty, dated and have no amenities. Not even a hair dryer. The showers are original with mineral build up and grit on floors. Wear shoes! When I asked the spa desk if there was a hair dryer after showering following a massage the reply was "we are working on it" Not sure what is required to purchase a $20 hair dryer. So I left with wet hair. I am a local, born and raised in Palm Beach and thought I would try the new and improved Tideline out. I won't be back anytime soon. The Spa services were discounted and rightly so. Masseuse was fine but the environs were terrible.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Tideline since 2016. Each visit was amazing and the service was always excellent. I was there in July 2023 and then the hotel was closed for renovations. I recently visited in December 2023 and it is more beautiful than ever. The rooms and the hotel's bar, restaurants, and pool area look amazing. I can't wait to visit in June 2024. The staff treats you very well; especially Steve, Ping, Bob, Shane and Bibi. The food is delicious because of their excellent Chef Gary. Some new managers are also in place and I was very happy with the service once again. See you all in June! :)
