I Mori di Porta Nuova Suite & Terrace
4.5/536 Reviews
This is a beautiful, charmingly appointed boutique hotel just at the entrance to the main gate in the old city. It is practically across the street from the Cappella Palatina and within easy walking distance of all of the old town sights and close to many restaurants near the famous quattro canti intersection. The breakfast on the roof is an unbelievable way to start your day! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. Smart TV has all the streaming possibilities you could want. But this place is most supremely recommended due to the amazingly helpful and incredibly efficient manager, Dante, who will make sure that everything you need is handled perfectly. Cannot rate this hotel higher.
Hotel d'Orleans

Both on tripAdvisor and booking.com(from which we booked) breakfast is included but arrived in the structure told us they don't do it anymore. The hotel was very comfortable and the room was very nice, with a kitchening corner included. The Wi-Fi was very bad in that room, so I suggest you talk to the structure first if you need a stable connection to work with. The hotel is near the palace of Orleans but it is not good to go home walking alone in the evening, the area is not ideal from this point of view.
Albergo Athenaeum

Albergo ben posizionato anche grazie alla presenza della metropolitana. In ogni caso anche a piedi si arriva al politeama in massimo 20 minuti. Pulizia ottima. Unica pecca per chi lo desiderasse la mancanza di una colazione salata.

-Location: the hotel is located in a downtown neighborhood but close to tourist attractions -Service: the biggest issue we encountered was to check in the hotel upon arrival. Since there is no reception at the building, you’re supposed to contact the hotel owner, William, by phone for getting the keys. However, the breakfasts there were lovely with scenic rooftop view and handmade beverages by the caterer -Cleanliness: the room is generally clean but there’s no daily cleaning service and windows need to be opened to dispel odors -Amenities: the best part of the hotel’s amenities was that they got a water dispenser for refilling your water bottles *the staff there only speak Italian

I was in this hotel with friends (we were a group of 16 people) in August for two times in distant days. I had a triple first time and I have to say it was spacious, clean, cooling and we were quite satisfied. The second time we returned to this structure was a disaster: in particular, we were assigned a triple to people with motor problems and therefore the shower was not under the shower plate. ( essential to not make the bathroom attached during use) and had no central basic inclination to not bathe the rest of the room.. We had to ask for tapes to be put around the shower but these were denied to us, folding with two towels that we had to roll around the shower (even they came to do it), And the next day, no other towels were given. The bathroom was without lighting, which was on the contrary abundant in the bedroom during the night as the room, located on the ground floor, looked on the courtyard always lighted and the tent covered half the window ... To finish the whole Our refrigerator was full of ice so unusable ... Of course at the reception were present the first night the problems found in that room ( which could not be changed because the structure was complete), But they would have remedyed it the next morning. Well, the day after the tent always covered half-window and the frog ice plan ... Breakfast provided drinks from the machine, sweet and salt served by the servers but the whole was always repeating ( Chocolate buffon, marbled and chocolate crustaceans, carote cake, cookies, Macedonia, pigs, eggs and cheese No fame and dance praises, very sweet (some excessive) And sin there were no typical Sicily sweets, they would have been much better.
