The hotel is behind a mountain, which means the only way in and out is with their transfers in 4x4, that are absurdly expensive. There is a 3 min path through the forest to a point where a tricycle can pick you up, but you need to call them ahead. The description in booking is not accurate, there is no 6 min walking to el nido, it is more 15 min tricycle + 3 min walking. I would have loved to know this in advance, we travel with kids and would have gone for an easier option. The premium villas are up the mountain, you need to go by funicular, which sometimes is not working due to maintenance issues, then you have to get a car up to your villa, both things you should plan ahead, the funicular operator is not always there, neither the cars. Also the funicular is not working early in the morning. The breakfast is supposed to start at 6 am, which is a reasonable hour if you are planning to go to a tour, but the 3 days that we went at that time, not everything was ready. They picked us up from the airport with a pick up, the luggage was behind in the open and arrived completely covered in dust, the butler tried to clean it but it wasn’t easy. There are several things in the villa that weren’t working properly, like hair dryer, really bad smell in the toilet, dirt in the curtains… but those were small issues, the main issue we had is that in our last night our rooms were full of bugs, they were everywhere and it was impossible to sleep like that with bugs crawling over us, so we moved to a much smaller villa down the mountain and they gave us a discount due to the downgrade. The discount was nice and the staff did their best with the situation, but we lost more than 1 hour trying to kill the bugs to sleep there and also in the morning we had to review all the clothes in the luggage and remove the dead bugs after the fumigation. The pool toilets are out of order and you need to go to a first floor. In summary I don’t think the above is acceptable in a 5 starts hotel with the price they have. The tours were absurdly expensive, but I can’t tell if they were nice because we outsourced.

Absolutely fantastic place. All staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful and always smiling. A few names to mention are Erico the manager, mertz the head barman and lawrence ( who attended to our every need) at pool bar. Kat, Jane, Love and all at reception ( sorry didn’t capture all names) Jude and others in restaurant. Stanley the chef. Teamwork exudes from the staff here and genuinely seem happy. Wonderful massage and excellent value. There was good selection of food and well cooked especially the a la carte. We had a Fabulous pool villa (30) which has everything you need. All the complimentary tours were excellent and the guides were great - they really look after you. Dean was particularly good with photography and help on the small lagoon visit. Fantastic from beginning to end. A special mention must go to Mertz who went out of his way to help us not only on this island but with our other destinations too. You’re a star Mertz! Highly recommend this island.

So we checked in last October 2019 and was assisted by a front desk staff. As we saw our room, I saw that the bed I requested through Agoda which is a queen size bed was not available. They gave us 2 single beds Instead. I said if they can transfer us as we would want to sleep comfortably in a bigger bed. He was kind enough to transfer us to a different room on the second level, still with 2 single beds combined which was okay. Didn’t have any issues with that. I even apologized to the staff if I seemed rude. Now my problem is, on the following day, we when we came back from our tour, our keys were not working. Went all the way back to the front desk only to find out that the manager intentionally deactivated our cards. Why? Just to inform us of our check out and pick up time. It should have been a phone call right? Do you do this to all your guests and make them walk all the way from their rooms to the front desk or did she just want to see us personally because we complained at her staff the previous day? By the way, when she was talking to us, she didn’t seem accommodating and didn’t even apologize for the deactivated card. If you will tell us now that you do this to all your guests just to inform them of the checkout details then you shouldn’t. Just call them and let them have a hassle-free vacation.

staff is very nice and helpful. i would say same as many philippine guys met , always talking with smile and willing to help. breakfast is very nice as well , buffet with large choice of food to eat. Omelette is highly recommended rooms are clean and comfortable. a bit dark but usually you dont stay in the room during the days. dont try to understand some things sometimes , there are some culture differences. Staff can help you for renting scooters , there are a few things you should be aware before booking , to avoid bad surprises or misunderstanding

Just went to check in a few days ago. First of all, I have to say that the hotel is in a very good location, next to McDonald's, and it is super close to the pier. The second is that the hotel is super new and clean, the staff service attitude is very good 👍 The hotel is fully equipped in all aspects, and there is no problem of eating, drinking and playing. The air on the rooftop on the top floor is very good, and the scenery is awesome. You can see the mountains and the sea. Finally, the hotel can also provide Chinese diving instructors, so that everyone has an extra peace of mind and comfort when playing [color] next time I come to play, I will choose this hotel again [color][color][color]

Great location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Our room was good, but had a couple problems. The insulation wasn't that good, so it took a while for the air-conditioning to cool down the room. On really warm days it takes quite a bitnof time to cool down. Also the shower pressure was pretty weak. Our room also happened to be right next to the the place next door, and the chickens can be quite loud in the morning. Some ofnthese things might just ne specific to that one room though. Other than that though, the room was good for our trip and good value. The town center also just a short walk away. The staff were also super helpful. We wanted to post a postcard, but unfortunately couldn't catch the post office in time, so we asked the receptionist to post it for us. We gave her some money, but she messaged that it was actually short by a small amount. She gladly covered the surplus and sent through the receipt. This was a real highlight of the service and is a big reason we would recommend this place.

I had stayed in Sunz en Coron a few years ago with friends and this year with my family. Both times have been an enjoyable stay which deserves more than a 5star rating! As a person who worked at customer service for more than 10years, theirs' is simply superb! My family have been gushing on our stay and experience that added to their fun and enjoyment of Palawan! Thank you Sunz en Coron for enhancing a truly memorable vacation for my family! We will surely come visit again and recommend you to friends who are planning to Visit Coron! Kudos to all your staff! This resort considered as executive village. Family friendly place. They have multiple large swimming pool with wall shower around the pool area. Pool is cleaned daily. Area is sanitized n the morning. Love the landscaping that shadowed the pool area and bar. Breakfast served daily with multiple breakfast selections thats included on our stay. Room is spacious and the one I stayed have balcony (not sure if all rooms have one). Staffs are friendly and courteous. Rides (Tricycles) are available whenever requested at the front desk. Have a small workout area with very limited equipment’s to use. This resort is about 30-45 mins to Busuanga Airport and about 10 mins to town proper. Overall, great place to stay at Coron, Palawan.
