My request to send luggage from Osaka to Tokyo is done properly even though I only reach Tokyo like 10 days later. The concierge is extremely helpful n gave a lot of information. Special thanks to Fran, a young European lady staff who assisted us. I will always stay here in Osaka. The park behind hotel is also beautiful at night.

Although I was not staying at the W, the MIXup cafe is a fun spot in the middle of Osaka to have a tea or coffee and their amazing dessert(s). I was looking to try their seasonal dessert, the strawberry mille feuille, although it was already sold out when I arrived. This gives me another reason to return soon! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, I was swiftly shown to my table that I reserved ahead of time (thanks, Marriott Bonvoy), and was walked through the menu and how their orders work. Many teas to choose from, and the cake I chose was plated so beautifully. The chantilly cream with the berries - out of this world! The entire experience was smooth, and I was delighted with the level of service provided. In a way, this is ”normal” and expected for Japan, but I want to highlight that I really enjoyed this visit and look forward to going back.

Cons: The room is really thin! We booked a double room, but barely opened to a suitcase! If you really open two suitcases, you can't enter the bathroom and can't open the door! There is no phone in the room. If you need to find frontdesk, you need to drop to the lobby and can't call them. Breakfast - some bread and coffee juice.

A standard hotel for tourists who want to explore the most happening streets in Osaka, so near to Shinsaibashi and Dontonbori shopping streets. Not far from Namba City which is really a city of shopping. Again, chose this hotel because of location.

Exceptional service - the front desk helped me to arrange taxi to the airport and it was not easy because they were fully booked. The person tried many times and finally found a taxi for us, much to our relief. The front desk is trained to ask all the right questions, staying calm. They also helped to receive my transferred luggage from another hotel. All timely and accurately. It deserved a 6 star for such exceptional service. The hotel ambience has a calming effect as it is dark but lighted on the areas that you need to see. We have no problem even though some people commented on it. Great location Room size is comfortable and considered a fair size, in fact, slightly larger and well planned. Breakfast has a good spread. Think it is great to open at 6.30 am as it gives maximum time to have an early start. Highly recommended for couple and families.
