The hotel is very comfortable. The room is big and clean. The bathroom is also big and clean. The breakfast is rich and the gym is diverse and clean. You can order drinks by the pool. Everything is very convenient and close to Disney

I’m sitting here on my last night and feeling sad, I don’t want to leave. I wanted to write a review because there were so many bad reviews that I was getting a little bummed before I came. First off, do not be afraid of the construction going on. My building was literally right across from it and I barely heard anything or saw anything. Second, everyone keeps talking about how the rooms need updating and I agree to a point. I did not feel my room was dank or worn. It was beautiful. It was clean. We loved it. They cleaned everyday too and even at Animal Kingdom in January we didn’t have that. The Lagoon View is great o highly recommend! We ate at Citricos , and are waiter Giovanni was excellent and the food was fabulous. We were a party of 13 with 8 kids and he handles us with ease. The pools are all great, my kids love them especially the slide pool! The hotel lobby and grounds are beautiful. The location is very good. The monorail makes it easy to go to Magic Kingdom and even going to Epcot didn’t take as long as people on line act like it does! We still totally rope dropped! Bottom line it was a great trip. We were a party of 13 and no one is complaining! Yes it is super expensive. Disney is expensive! Other then that we were really happy and are sad to leave! My only recommendation is when there is an issue and there were a few at check in you go back to throwing lightening lanes at people like the fast passes in the old days! It makes you feel like you are getting some kind of compensation when things aren’t perfect. Just fyi all of our issues were resolved. They were nice about it too!

We just returned from our trip and LOVED THE CONTEMPORARY! We have been to both DisneyLand (Grand Californian and Paradise Pier) and DisneyWorld (Caribbean Beach and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness) before, and this is now my new favorite. I read some other reviews discussing that the theming was not as strong here, but I honestly think it's perfect. I think everyone has ”a hotel” that is theirs for one reason or another, and this one is just ours. The room is incredibly clean, simple, and for that it allows us to RELAX during our breaks. We go early and stay late, so we always take breaks in the afternoon. And our room was just wonderful to come back to each day. It is easy to get to and from the parks, I LOVE the built in closets because it allows us to fully unpack and stow our suitcases, the bathroom is huge and very comfortable for a family, and most importantly the beds are COMFORTABLE! I am picky due to my neck and slept really well here. My kids thought it was great because there are about 300 plugs to use for electronic charging. We ate at Steakhouse 71 and really enjoyed it. We did eat at a few other monorail hotels to experience them, but I think the Contemporary is just our kind of place and will book more reservations within our own hotel next time. I will absolutely come back not only because of the proximity to MK and the convenience of the monorail, but because the hotel itself was perfection. Our room was clean every day when we came back, the kids enjoyed having all their stuffed animals arranged in a fun manner, and I truly appreciate that the theming was modern and clean so I could mentally relax during our breaks. If you want heavier theming, there are great options on the monorail, but if you- like me- need a little mental break in the middle of the day then I highly recommend the Contemporary. It is clean, nicely sized, comfortable, and most importantly: total access winner for MK, which is where we spent most of our evenings. We used a travel agent to help us prepare for our Disney trip, and this was one of her suggestions for a moderately priced on property stay. Riverside did not disappoint. We had a preferred room which put us near the hotel lobby area. We were in alligator bayou in building 27, and in my opinion, it was perfect. It was close to the lobby, the larger pool, the food places. There is a welcome message on your TV when you get it. We checked in several days prior to arrival and had our room number texted to us the day of arrival so we went straight to our rooms. We did have magic bands that let us in but I believe you can also use your phones. We didn't have to go to the lobby for check in. Room was smaller than what I thought average rooms are but it also had a table with two chairs. It had the pull down 5th sleeper as well. The actual shower and toilet area is TINY but the sink area is larger and has a nice area to put your luggage and hang some clothes. Also a curtain to pull across so you can dress privately. We were near another pool as well that was quieter and more laid back but with little kids, the large pool with slide was a hit. There are several bus stop as this is a large resort, we used the one outside of the lobby entrance but coming back from the parks they dropped us at a different one. It was a little further walk but still not bad. Beautiful grounds. Food & drink - expensive but expected. There is quick service, a lounge, a restaurant, and a bar with a light selection of food at the pool. French quarter is about a 15 min walk. Very pleased with this resort and would stay there again.

We booked a room for me, my fiancé, and my father in a Double Queen Room just for one night and it was great! We went to the Chelsea vs ****nal game at Camping World Stadium and it wasn't too far at all. I live right around the corner from this hotel for years and I recently moved cross country, but I'm glad I was able to stay here even though it was just for the night. If you are here for Disney, they have a shuttle that's $5/per person to bring you to the parks. We obviously didn't use the shuttle at all, but it's a nice perk especially since parking at the park's is insanely expensive! The room was spotless and it was nice to have a small kitchen with pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. If you're on a budget, I would definitely consider getting groceries from the Target right across the street and cooking in your room. I was nervous there was going to be a lot of noise on the floors especially with kids staying in the hotel, but I heard absolutely no noise and slept like a baby. The restaurant seemed nice, but it was closed by the time we got back from the game at around 11pm. The staff were all friendly and even provided my dad with a wheelchair as he can't walk very well. Having breakfast included is a lifesaver and it was of the best continental breakfasts I've ever had! Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. Will for sure be coming back in the future!

Family and I stayed Oct 7-14, 2022. I was pleased with my room at first. We had a nice room on the main floor, close to all the restaurants and gift shops, with a balcony which is what I had paid for with a very nice view. Friday night, the first night we stayed, there was a massive water leak I believe coming from the ice machine which absolutely ponded the whole wing. All the pounding and workers talking kept up us half the night. We had to move rooms and unfortunately there were no more rooms available with balconies and were stuck with a room with absolutely no view, just a view of the awning over the front door when you come in. Definitely disappointing. Also, new room had a fingernail clipping on the floor, a used tooth flosser in the closet and a lost cough drop under the bed. We were comped $300 for switching rooms and could see fireworks from Magic Kingdom out the window, but still sad we were without a balcony with a view. We noticed the carpets were pretty worn going down the hallways and the A/C was cranked up so high, it felt like Antarctica walking down the hall. There are quite a few choices for food, but we found most of it to be mediocre and had better experiences off Disney. Shula's Steakhouse and the BlueZoo restaurant require reservations and have a dress code. We did enjoy the ice cream at the Fountain, however. There was also a fee for parking and getting to the parking lot was quite a trek. It would be excruciating for someone in a wheelchair or had problems walking. We had rented a car and bought a few groceries for the room and had to wheel them in a suitcase, it was that far of a walk. The hotel was extremely huge and very confusing. Since we had to move rooms to the 7th floor, I found myself getting lost every time I left the room. If you're looking for a hotel close to the parks, it was easy to get to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as you could ride the water taxi or walk, and also close to the Skyliner. The walkway from the Dolphin to the Swan was pretty at night when it was lit up. In conclusion, I would not stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone. I feel there are a lot nicer places to stay in the Disney realm. Last year in 2021, we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and had a way better experience. Other members of my family stayed across the pond at the Yacht Club and now I wish I would have spent the extra money to stay there - it was a lot nicer and cleaner than the Dolphin.

Navigating the past location is very easy to find, because it is self-driving, not far from Disney, the hotel room is very big, the only thing is that our bathroom is so big that there is no bathtub, only the shower, this shows a bathtub on the booking page. Breakfast is also good, the restaurant is outside the window, great.

As always i always love to stay this hotel. Only new feature i just find out Now they are charging Parking fee. In the end my stay was wonderful.

The room is big and the price is good, but the hotel doesn't know if it discriminates against the agency. We walked to the innermost room for us, and there is a swimming pool below, and we can't see animals at all... For breakfast, the hotel's breakfast buffet is good, and dinner is only for self-stay There are not many choices for simple meals at the bar, and it is recommended to come back after eating in the park
