InterContinental Properties in Onna

This is a classic five-star resort hotel, though its location is a bit off the beaten path. While a bus serves the main road near the village entrance, it's a 200-meter walk from there to the hotel's complimentary shuttle stop. Alternatively, a taxi from the bus stop to the hotel costs 900 JPY. The rooms are quite spacious, equipped with a sofa and a balcony, and come with complimentary mineral water and a coffee machine. However, the bathrooms are a bit dated, and the ventilation system is weak. Coin-operated laundry facilities are available on the first floor. Service is excellent. Upon arrival, bellhops promptly greeted us and took our luggage directly to our room. The breakfast buffet was also very impressive. The hotel features a swimming pool and offers direct, free access to the beach. There are plenty of paid water activities, making it ideal for a family vacation.
