Hotels with Airport pickup service in Novi

My family and I chose to spend a night in a hotel due to our air conditioner breaking. We chose to stay in this hotel vs others that we are rewards members because their website stated that both their indoor pool and their hot breakfast buffet were open (both basically a must when you have 2 kids and was LITERALLY my search criteria). Upon checking in, I'm met with a SIGN stating that the pool is closed. The breakfast buffet is closed and that they are offering bagged Togo breakfasts in mornings. I told the clerk I didn't want to stay because their website didn't reflect this and was told he had already completed my check in and would not be able to do a refund, so we decided to stay after paying the money. Through the night we had a neighbor on the floor that kept playing music loudly and was in and out of the room slamming doors and would wake our youngest up. I went downstairs to complain after the 3rd time and it was 2am. The night clerk was nice and apologetic, but just wrote down the problem and said she would give it to the manager the following day (did me no good that night). The beds werent equipped with the right amount of pillows and werent very comfortable. Needless to say I slept all of maybe an hour. I was so upset by it all I got my family up at 6am, packed our things and went to check out. Upon checkout (which was about 7:30am), the night clerk from before was having an issue with the person in front of me and I formed me that if I had a deposit I had to wait. We waited 20 min while she had the miscommunication with the person in front of me trying to stay another night. When I got up there to check out, she said oh, you paid with a card you are good. I asked about the bagged breakfast and she said oh yeah those, and didn't have them ready as it stated they should be on the signage.

The outside of this hotel makes it look quite clean and accommodating however, looks are deceiving. I was booked a room for 2 nights, (not cheap) and was assigned a room at the back of the hotel. The room was not as clean as it should be. The lamp in the corner was broken, there is a distinct lack of accessible plugs for laptops and cell phone. The carpet looked like it needed a good shampoo and the chair by the bed definitely needed an upholstery clean. The bathroom was far from clean with a dirty tissue dispenser, a portable mirror on the vanity was absolutely filthy underneath and the tile calking on the floor was brown with heavy staines. Even the room number on the telephone did not match the actual room number. The room safe was unable to be opened as the previous guest had locked it and left it with their own combination. Don't waste your hard earned money on this place. I decided to only stay the one night.

Hotel is OK, there is a Wal-Mart supermarket nearby, the price is also cheap

We had booked this hotel for the weekend and came across some disappointments making us not want to stay at a Hilton again. When we arrived at 8:30pm we were told the pool was closed and is only open 8-8 (found out the next day you have to reserve a pool time). Even though we found nothing on their website about this. They asked if we wanted to schedule room service upon checking in and we said yes but the next day we never got room service. We had stripped the bed noticing the sheets and bed protector were stained. I notified the front desk and they said they didn't have us down for room service. He was accommodating and eventually offered us a new room. Which we appreciated. The beds and pillows were not as expected. However, The customer service at the desk and dining area were great!

The night staff was absolutely amazing. Coming in with a team of young men for a regatta. Not realizing there was not much of a lobby for guests to bring in food to sit and feed 20 hungry boys. Amli and his team where super helpful and it was very much appreciate. Kindness and professionalism was all night from check in to the bar attendant. Our room was clean and no issues. Same as the hallways- we are grateful.

I had a poor experience at the Sheraton in Novi while staying with a family member to celebrate a belated Christmas as we weren't able to get together around Christmas proper. While I was upgraded to a room on the club lounge floor, the guest room I received was not clean by any definition of clean. There was hair on the desk and desk chair, hair on the toilet, hair under the toilet seat, hair on the wrapped bar of soap and soap dish, stains on the desk, and stains on the face tissue container. The single bathrobe hanging in the closet appeared to have been previously worn and didn't have a cincture. On my reservation I specifically requested only 100% feather pillows. My reservation also requested a bathrobe, slippers, extra pillows and extra towels. I didn't receive any of those things. The four pillows were four polyester down-alternative pillows. Those pillows are horrible. They always feel like someone stuffed cotton balls in a pillowcase. During check-in I noticed a sign at the front desk saying daily housekeeping is not provided, unless specially requested. The major cleanliness issues that I experienced are a direct result of what happens when hotels don't clean rooms and other spaces each and every day. I received zero Marriott Bonvoy elite status recognition. Specifically, I was not offered the choice at check-in of breakfast in the restaurant, an amenity or points. I complained to the general manager, who to his credit acknowledged the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable, fully apologized and took responsibility. To resolve the issue, he offered to comp my stay and ensure that the room was thoroughly cleaned while we were out of the room and off-property at a nearby shopping mall. He also apologized for the lack of Bonvoy recognition and provided the $100 cash compensation that is required by Marriott for not offering guest with platinum or higher Bonvoy status the choice at check-in of breakfast in the restaurant, an amenity or points. When we returned, the room was properly cleaned. The pillows were replaced with feather pillows, although none of the feather pillows had pillow protectors or pillowcase liners. Two clean bathrobes and two pairs of slippers were placed in the closet. The general manager was also kind enough to leave a bottle of wine in the room. My family member was really appreciative of that gesture. Despite the issues, the staff that I encountered throughout the stay were polite, welcoming and hospitable. That aside, there was zero excuse for the cleanliness issues or the lack of attention to what was specified on the reservation The club lounge was open with an average evening offering that included a selection of assorted cheeses, crackers, grapes, fruit and some basic canapés. Besides free nonalcoholic drinks, an honor bar featured cheap house wine ($5 retail bottles of wine) selling for $5 a glass. The club lounge is a nice smaller space. I recently stayed at this location for a two day meeting. The meeting space was clean, set up perfectly and EVERY staff member including Basil the Manager was extremely professional and willing to help. The attention to detail was amazing, and they always checked to make sure everything was up to snuff. My room was extremely clean, and anything I needed was responded to immediately. Even the janitor made sure that we didn't need anything in the breakfast area before he mopped there. It is obvious that Basil leads a ”Service First” team and it is trickled down through to every team member. I absolutely recommend staying or hosting a meeting at this location. Extremely well done.

The service in the hotel is very good. They can also help with printing. There is 24-hour free hot water and coffee and other small drinks. It is very suitable for Asians on business trips. The breakfast is also delicious and there are many choices. The waffles are great. The hotel is also newly opened. The environment Very good. The only drawback is that it is very close to the road and it will be a little noisy, but overall it is still very good and the service is very good!
