Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Niagara Falls

Great service at the front desk. I had made a typo on the guest name and was worried I wouldnt be able to check in. Trip com travel agent and the hotel worked together to note the error and let us keep the reservation. I was impressed with the location and cleanliness.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience trying to check in. The staff was not very helpful and told us to figure it out with *******- and the issue ended up being on their end and between them and *******. When we called *******, they told us that our card had already been charged and that they were having trouble getting in touch with the hotel to sort it out (even though the clerk was available in the lobby the whole time). It took an hour on the phone with ******* trying to get it sorted out before the clerk would let us have a room. Our room wasn’t overly clean, with dirty pillows and a dirty bathroom. You could also hear the people in the room next door and anyone in the hallway. With that said, it is in good proximity to the outlet mall. I guess you get what you pay for because this hotel was on the cheaper side.

It’s a nice and clean hotel with good selection of breakfast. It was a one night stay, did not experience other facilities.

It is rare that I am not happy about how I was treated in a hotel. We stayed at this hotel 2 nights and i had rented 2 rooms. Everything went well the first night. The second night, we arrived late from our full day activities. We learned that there were not hot water but the problem would be resolved in the morning which didn`t happen. We left the place after being told that we would get a refund. We did get a refund but it was not enough. I had 2 rooms so we expected to get a refund for both rooms. We rent hotel rooms to sleep well and have great showers in the morning and night which we didn`t have the seond night. I thought Wyndham organisation would be more professionnal but when I tried to reach them, I coudn`t get anyone to talk to because they couln`t process my calls. I tried to call them many times. Hope they will treat their customers better in the future. Serge Bilodeau

I havent had a weekend getaway in years! The hotel was very affordable and definitely worth the price. There was an issue with hot water for the shower in the morning close to check out. Overall the rooms were clean and staff were friendly. It could use some updating but overall, my partner I enjoyed the stay.
