Hampton Inn by Hilton New York Times Square

We stayed around thanksgiving time. Great hotel to be close to the Macy’s parade. We only had to walk 1/2 a block. The hotel has 2 hotels in one. Which can get crowded when getting on the elevators. Room seem smaller than most hotels. With just enough room to move around. Hall way are extremely thin allowing foot traffic to be as single file line. Room service for cleaning is every 2 or 4 days. You have to let front desk if you need anything replenished. They will stock you up and night time, so be prepared to have a visitor at night. Unfortunately we were too tired to get up for breakfast. So we missed out on it and can’t review the breakfast. Hosts were nice and welcoming.

Everything good just problem about the take extra deposit for booking

One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable. The lines for the elevators were never a long wait with the type of elevator system they have set up. Location was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

We asked and paid for a King bed and got a queen. The front desk upon check out didn't believe us because the computer said it was a king. I had to show a photo of my husband in the middle of the bed with his arms over the sides.

Hotel was very clean and staff were awesome. Great attitudes and everything was great. Definitely will book again soon.

Excellent location, friendly staff, good choice of breakfast food. Rooms have shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion.

Great location, hotel was good. We had 2 negative experiences, we had an air conditioner that was loud and took 3 days to rectify, also there was construction work noise at 6am for the first couple of days that we were not told of when we booked the hotel.

Good location in mid-town. New hotel so clean and tidy. Staff helpful. We had twin double room which was adequate for 5 nights but on the smaller side for getting around the room and storage. Shower nice size though. Beds and pillows were wonderful although appreciate this is subjective. Breakfast basic but nice (cereals, fruit, porridge, three cooked items, bagels, toast, waffles, juices. Free tea and coffee throughout day. My only criticism would be a) air con in room could not be turned off and wasn't the quietest (put it this way, if the TV was on you couldn't hear it unless turn up loud. The air con is 24 hours as well). 2) The loft system worked ok during our stay (it's a smart elevator system - easy to get use to) however hotel was relatively quiet during our stay and suspect the waits may be much longer at busier time. Overall though, 4 out 5.

Staff very friendly and helpful but room was too hot even in January! The central AC was so loud I could not sleep. I tried to turn it off but then the room got too hot. Blanket was too warm. Breakfast was good. Hit and miss overall but I don’t want to stay there again because of the noisy AC.
