The staff was very friendly. Beverly, at the front desk, when I checked in was very nice. Dewayne was very helpful as a valet and also helped us with our bags. The location is great, situated between the French Quarter and the Warehouse District. Lots of places of interest and great places to eat in every direction. I highly recommend.

We arrived at 2:30 AM and there was somebody to guide us with a check in and how to get to our bedroom.
Our bedroom was impeccable, same as the bathroom.
This hotel has kept the old style and it is a very charming place that is kept really nice.
 The room was very comfortable. It also has the old style and it is very cozy and nice.
 The bathroom in our room is 100% remodeled and it is now really nice
We stayed for three days and during our stay, we were never bothered by knockings on the door or anything like that. It’s a very nice and quiet place to stay.
We were very happy with the way the room is set up and the way it is decorated, and it is good to mention that the bed was also set up really nice and it is a very comfortable bed
 We did not have the chance to eat in the hotel, or to use the bar but everything looked really nice to us. Overall, we were very happy throughout our stay, and we would recommend this place fully.

The hotel is lovely, historic, and conveniently located to all of the major New Orleans landmarks. We enjoyed a lot about this hotel. However, we booked a room through ******* with two beds and when we arrived the receptionist, Cynthia, told us that we had been booked for a queen room. She tried to make us feel like we had made a mistake in booking and refused to accept any blame. The room she moved us to had no air conditioning and when we said anything she told us she would send up an engineer and no one ever came. The next day a different receptionist, Milena, who was wonderful, helped us move to a more comfortable room. The first receptionist made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable, which is just not a great way to begin a vacation. The hotel had a lot of great qualities but customer service (at least in terms of Cynthia) could be improved.

Odd not having a window in the room. Was very difficult to determine the time of day and not really safe.
Bed was fabulously comfortable and the room was beautiful and clean.

The proximity to anything you'd want to do during Mardi Gras. Most especially easy access to the parades on Canal St.

There is no way this is a 9 star rated hotel! Room was not ready at check in, they said it will be in 15 to 20 mins and they would call...an hour plus later I go by the front desk and they forgot to call when the room was ready. Very noisy hotel not only from the hallway but from the city street. No control over your room temperature, it was 76 degrees in the room. And if that wasn't enough it took one hour and forty five minutes to get my car from valet. Save your money and time by not staying here!!!

The Hotel itself is a throw back to the 18th Century with the decor, it was fun and a clean hotel. We would stay at this hotel again
