It was fashionable and very comfortable. Especially, all-you-can-drink at dinner was very good for Western sake and wine lovers. However, the selection of sake was a little disappointing. Various attraction elements were available for free (table tennis, treasure hunting?, board games, etc. were rented), and I had a good night. Breakfast was also very delicious and awesome. I left after breakfast in the morning for work reasons, but I'm glad that check-out at １１ is private. Finally, there was a bath and an open-air bath, and the tatami bathroom was new and really nice. I want to use it again.

Pros : Close to JR Kyoto station, just about 10 mins walk. Hotel looks quite new & very clean Rooms are spacious enough (considering Japan’s standard) Staff are generally friendly and always prompt to offer help. Very extensive breakfast buffet spread, literally one of the best we had before. Definitely worth booking a room package including breakfast. The only downside, the hotel tends to be a little overcrowded and bustling during our stay. It’s great for families but if you are looking for quiet or private getaway, then you may want to consider elsewhere.

(I think there were 2 beers, wine, cider, 3 juices, water, cola, and carbonated water.) ・There were 3 types of sweets!・Instant tea, black tea, coffee ・2 liters of water bottles (thankfully) ・Ice ・Semi-open-air bath, great wood scent. It was especially nice to be able to go directly to the balcony next door and cool off. ◆The large public bath was beautiful. The open-air bath is close to trees, so there were insects sometimes, but there was a net so I didn't worry about it. I've been here twice, and both times I was able to enjoy it by myself. There were several types of shampoo and body soap, and I was happy to be able to choose from them. ◆Meals will be brought to your private room by a staff member. Since it was a private room, I was able to eat in a relaxed manner without worrying about my surroundings. The food they brought me was so beautiful that my eyes widened every time, and I was so moved. Of course the taste is delicious. The dashi soup is the best! I was happy that the head chef came over halfway through the meal and I was able to talk to him directly. I almost didn't meet any other customers. 3 stations from JR Kyoto Station, a 5-minute walk from Nijo Station on the subway Tozai Line, and a very convenient location right next to Sanjo Shopping Street, the longest shopping mall in Kyoto City. It looks like a machiya hotel along an alley in a residential area, but there is a large dining space and a communal kitchen in the lobby on the first floor. It is a newly built hotel that was just built this year, and there are 3 washing machines on each floor, which is very convenient for long stays. The rooms are full of beds, but the bathrooms are average size and the rooms with kitchens are said to be slightly larger. Just like a one-room apartment, there are many people who stay for a long time, and it seems that all the guests are getting along well with the kind men at the front desk and the international student staff, just like a boarding house. I felt it.

I and my mother stayed there for one night 20000 yen per person, with dinner and breakfast. It was a very comfortable stay. This was more like a hotel, except that we needed to walk around without your own shoes (without getting dirty feet) inside. It was fully booked on that day. We had an earlier check-in, which mean that we could enjoy our relaxing private Onsen bath without standing in line. We also tried the large onsen baths later in the evening after a long walk in the beautiful Arashiyama area nearby. It was hot, but great. One of the baths was outside in a Japanese garden. We got warmed up from the inside out, and had an ice popsicle before we went up to our room for good nights rest. We also enjoyed a huge dinner and breakfast, true local cuisine with typical taste in Kyoto that supposed to be refined and ”delicate” - you shouldn´t expect any strong taste, and correctly cooked. This supposed to be a 3-star-hotel, but the amenity was completed. We didn´t miss anything here. We thought the staff at the front desk were not amazing, but definitely not poor. We didn´t need to deal with them so much as we had good information in written form. Everything was clean and pleasant. Had absolutely nothing to complain. We would definitely love to come back again. My rating is 4 - not more or less. I certainly see that they still have a room for improvement, but overall I didn´t personally understand all the poor reviews.

The open-air bath in the sky was very good to have an open feeling and Osaka was able to see. It is a pity that the man can only enter from １１:４５ at night in the men and women replacement system. The room used triple for 2 people, but the bed was made of garland ３ small TV at the end. . . I think it was easy to see if I had a wall hanging.
