The Village

We were on the way to the Wayanad on 20th April and happen to stop at “The Village” Mysuru for our breakfast. The Hotel is well maintained with a big lawn at the centre. The guest wash rooms were neat and clean. The Hotel gives an ethnic village atmosphere with large trees and green lawn. We reached the hotel at around 10:30am for breakfast, but unfortunately the breakfast was almost over, but the staff warmly managed to arrange for fairly good dishes like Masala Dosa, Idli-Vada and Coffee. My wife and daughter enjoyed the open lawn. It was a good and memorable experience.

It’s a wonderful place close to the city but not in the city, if you are looking for mini resort like experience with good ambience, food, stay, greenery and great service. Quite well constructed and nice architecture, quite aesthetic feeling. Highly recommended if you want to avoid city hotels and bit far away from hustle bustle. They have a pool but not in use i think, + table tennis, basket ball, children play area, lawn, etc. Quite well designed in a compact space.

Very average experience at the village. The hotel does not accept credit for any payments. The quality of breakfast is very very average. The quality of rooms are again average. The hotel dining experience is average and the food prices are dearer.

Room tariff bit steep good and cordial managers nice lawn room comfort certainly need to be improved

While the location is close to the city, the property itself brings a calmness and lets you relax. In food, the gobi manchurian and raita stood out compared to chicken biryani or egg fried rice.
