Upon check in the clerk started helping the next guest before I was even done signing paperwork, I still had questions and felt rushed. The clerk stated our room was on the 14th floor, but the elevator only went to the 12th floor. There are 2 buildings so I thought we must have been in the other. We spent about an hour wandering around with a full luggage cart and 3 kids. It turns out our room was on the penthouse level, labeled as PH in the elevator. It would have been nice for the clerk to specify. Room was not very clean but not worth it to move rooms. Indoor pools/waterpark were great which is where we went until 9:30 PM then headed back to the room to settle in for bed where we found the TV didn't work. Maintenace didn't finish replacing the TV until 11 PM. Spent the next day taking advantage of the resort amenities and ate at the on- restaurant that night, both were great. The next day was our check out day (11 AM). We packed our stuff up and headed to the pool when it opened at 9 AM with intentions on returning to the room at 10:30 AM to change into dry clothes and load our stuff up on a luggage cart but we found housekeeping already in our room (with all of our items still there) when checkout was not for another 40 minutes, and we had NOT checked out yet. We ended up changing in the lobby bathrooms. It was a quick trip for us, so we made the most of our time with the amenities, but it seems like anytime we had to deal with staff it was not a good experience.
