Safmar Grand Moscow (f. Marriott Grand Hotel)

Moscow|0.7km from Pushkin Theater
I have been living in Moscow from 2018 - 2020 and was a long term resident of Marriott Aurora and Marriott Grand hotels. Due to Covid-19, January 2022 was the first time when I came back to Moscow after a long period of time and had decided to choose Marriott Grand for my stay. The hotel is located right on Tverskaya Street walking distance to the Red Square, theaters, many other cultural locations, and the wonderful Depo Luxury Food Mall in Moscow. It is also very close to the Belaruskaya train station which has the Aeroexpress directly to/from SVO airport. What differentiates Marriott Grand hotel from many others are the staff which are always there to help you with anything that you might require. The front desk staff are always accommodating with any early check-in and late-check-out requests and the concierge is always ready to help with restaurant and other reservations. Additionally, the hotel has a great buffet breakfast, nice restaurants, and also great room service which is available 24 hours a day. The gym and spa center on the -1 level is also really great, it has a wonderful gym equipment, swimming pool, sauna, and hammam. I wanted to also complement the hotel for it's cleanliness, from the lobby, the elevators, the hallways, and of course the rooms, it is a pleasure to see how the cleaning staff are always making the hotel look tidy and clean for the guests. Overall I really would recommend this hotel to my family and friends and hope that this review can help others on Tripadvisor to make the hotel selection in Moscow. Thank you once again Marriott Grand staff and General Manager for making our stay so wonderful! We are looking forward to staying with you again during our next trip to Moscow.

Artcourt Moscow Center (f. Courtyard Moscow City Center)

“+” Great hotel location in the heart of Moscow. All the major Moscow sites are walkable, there are many different cafes and restaurants around. The hotel (including its rooms) are updated. My room (#431) was big. I liked the room’s design, it is simple and cute. I felt totally comfy in my room. Two Twin Beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi was working fast. I liked the hotel’s staff, every single person was sweet and friendly. Also I would like to point out the great job from the housekeepers. They were always fast and helpful, when I needed something. “-“ Nothing really to say here. My room was not soundproofed well. If people were noisy in the corridor, I could hear them. Also the plug situation in the room could be better. There were no power sockets around the bed (only a USB one which did not charge my gadgets fast). And the last thing is cheap bathroom amenities, which didn’t smell that nice.

A very nice hotel with a perfect location, close to everything one might need (restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, even a bookstore is walking distance). Major Moscow landmarks are easy to get to. The staff are friendly and helpful. I ordered a delivery to the hotel, they helped me to get my parcel. I had a comfortable room on the 8th floor with a lovely view on Pushkin square and really enjoyed the sauna and the spa complex. The hotel has a small but useful gym on the 3rd floor and a beautifully decorated lobby.

We booked a room with a jacuzzi specifically because we wanted to spend a romantic evening. The location of the hotel was very convenient, the center, you can walk until late and enjoy the beauty of Moscow at night. Everything was great until we got back to the hotel and got water to start the jacuzzi. Firstly, the bathroom itself was covered in someone’s hair, we didn’t notice it right away. But when they turned on the button from the jacuzzi, there were pieces of dirt, rust and hair. It was 12 o’clock at night, and at 5 am we were leaving for the airport, so we went to bed upset and thought that in the morning we could talk to the reception and they would reimburse us for the damage (they would deduct the difference between a regular room and a room with a jacuzzi, which was broken and spoiled the mood. It was not convenient for us to move to another room at night. We paid an extra 5000 for this jacuzzi. My boyfriend is from another Norway, he was shocked by the lack of service (because he himself works in the hotel business) and the disregardful attitude. Because we were told that They can’t help in any way, we had to contact us at night and they would have moved us. But this is not convenient!! Where is the customer focus?? Why is this hotel rated 9.2??
Art Hotel Sofit

This morning, my young man and I arrived in the capital and immediately went to our art-hotel Sofit to leave the baggage on the rehab and walk around the city. The nice girl behind the bar reported that our room had already been released by previous guests and we could settle down sooner as soon as the number was cleaned. After leaving the phone number for communication, we went for a walk, and then settle down in the room two hours before the time limit. It was particularly pleasant because we already wanted to rest a little. Our room, on the fourth floor, with retro-images of the main characters of the favorite many (and me personally) film ”Caucasian prisoner” pleasantly surprised, it turned out to be very bright, clean, with interesting mansard windows and a pleasant color solution. Clean drinking dishes, water and tea, towels, slippers and personal hygiene - everything in our room was present, as stated in the information on the website. The room itself was comfortable, The location of the hotel has been pleasant at all - the brightest and most interesting places of the capital in pedestrian accessibility. We are pleased that we have chosen the art hotel Sofit for coming to Moscow!

Great! ! The room is still not small, but the addition of a bed for three people is a bit crowded. The service was very good. I lost the immigration paper. The young lady at the front desk also accompanied me to the police station to report the case. It was very embarrassing to get it for a long time. All in all, it was a great stay at Hahaha!
Citycomfort Hotel on Tverskaya

In addition to the room is a bit small, the service is full, and the location is full. The entrance is a bit hidden, the door is in the alley, there is a small door on the second floor, and the door is the front desk.
