This was a cute little spot. Not much of a view as stated in the ad, but still a great spot for a quick sleep over. Bed was comfy.

We live rurally on a ranch about 100 miles from Morro bay recently tornados hit our land followed by a week of monsoon rain so we stayed at harbor house it was our third or fourth week long stay and as always they delivered Facebook had a poll yesterday asking best accommodation in Morro bay I voted 100% harbor house

The heater was so loud it kept us awake all night. The room was clean, simple but clean. Good parking and location, close enough to walk to food and the beach. But the loud heater ruined our stay.

Hotel room with view was as advertised and room was clean and comfortable. Inexplicably, the hotel decided to use 5000K daylight bulbs throughout - which were most unpleasant. In addition, while the room had blackout blinds, this was defeated by the lack of any window covering on the opaque window near the entry door where the morning sun shone, flooding the room with unwanted light to interrupt our sleep.
I mentioned these items to the desk clerk who was quite dismissive and said "all of the rooms are like that." We will be staying elsewhere upon our return to Morro Bay.

Calm area. And AMAZING bed. Haven't slept that good in a while. Big fridge, nice rounds and so close to the rock and all the food places are walkable distance.
Water pressure is non existent though. I think That was the case the first time we stayed there too.

Front desk was helpful and professional. The rooms are really outdated and a bit stinky; the carpet was wet in some areas of the room. Our room wasn’t as clean, and the coffee machine had mold. Other than that, it was alright. A very convenient area with lots to do around.

My wife has a problem with climbing steps, the room we had was upstairs. We had booked for 2 night's and had wanted and paid for a room with a view. Making a cancelation with limited notice, and expecting a refund was not an option through the booking service. I explained the problem with the night clerk and she contacted the owner. They gave me a reasonable refund and we made reservations at a new place. Thank you Harbor House.
