Glendale house is a beautifu house with a very homely feel. Great location,so close to Monaghan town,but still so peaceful for a great nights sleep. John a gentleman,always respons if needed. Breakfast fantastic,every single item you could want!! We all really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend+would definitely stay again.

Very convenient to castle Leslie us we where attending a wedding there the place was absolutely very very clean and the breakfast was amazing really enjoyed the service and the company nothing was too much and the bottle of cold water we really appreciate on are return from the function thank you John

We stayed for one night in this B&B, the host is very accommodating and friendly. We also needed a shed for bikes and gear and was provided with same easily. Lovely breakfast. Would recommend to a group of friends or family. Plenty of parking. About a 2 minute drive from Monaghan town centre.

I was there for multiple days with my friend and it was really clean (especially the bathroom), comfortable (especially the beds) and cozy. John was also really friendly and always ready to help us. The food was also really good.

We stayed with John in Glendale House for the weekend of Monaghan rally. John was very accommodating and welcoming. We had clean, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. John cooked us a great breakfast both mornings which set us up for the day. If I were to stay in Monaghan again I would have no hesitation staying at Glendale House.

Home recently to see the family, I booked last minute, but John the owner said he could squeeze me in, He even arranged a car to pick me up at Belfast Int airport. John is a great host & the highlight of my stay was the amazing cooked breakfasts nothing was too much trouble even I asked for Poached eggs & fried avocado, not a staple in Monaghan

We stayed in Glendale House B&B for a local wedding on New Year's eve. From the moment we arrived John was so warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless with a good sized ensure and the house was so cosy. Would highly recommend.

On a recent visit to Monaghan, I was delighted to be able to stay at Glendale House. The breakfast each morning was exceptional, finest full Irish, complete with home made wheaten bread - fresh from the oven every day. [I even got a wee bit to take away with me!] John does an exceptional job running his B & B enterprise. The rooms are all a good size, they are bright & airy and all ensuite. It's a very relaxed house where one can instantly feel at home. It's a 30 minute walk from the town, so better if you have a car, but an ideal location if you're visiting the neighbourhood and it's exceptionally good value for money.
