We had to make a last minute trip to Kings Lynn due to a couple of friends being hospitalised whilst on a holiday to Norfolk. We contacted KLCC at 20.30 on a Saturday evening and they were able to offer us one of their modern, comfortable, homely lodges to stay in for a couple of nights. We were greeted very warmly and made to feel very welcome…particularly appreciated because we were all a bit frazzled after the events of the day. We needed some assistance to get the cooker working…help arrived within 2 minutes. I cannot recommend this family run site highly enough…warm, friendly, courteous service and excellent accommodation. Genuinely very nice people.

I think the camp itself is clean and out of the way. Nice and quiet. Not got too much going on there but they don’t pretend to so does what it says on the tin. Stayed in a side pod for two nights; absolutely lovely little place! Really nice and modern and well kept. Had good facilities; ignore the images in regard to bed making etc. this is not how we arrived but how we left so it looked 10x better on the first day! Would happily stay here again; not too far from the coast by car etc. so plenty to do in the day; evenings were cosy inside the pod. Shower was good temp and pressure; biggest issue was the bathroom was always freezing but if you closed the door it wouldn’t affect the rest of the place. Beds comfy (the double moved away from the wall when getting into bed?), not a huge amount of storage space but obvs this is meant to be a minimalistic kind of place. No microwave or toaster however the oven provides features which allow you to use it like them. I loved the outdoor lighting of the pod (optional via a light switch). All in all a good stay! (No washing up liquid/soap provided etc. only 1 loo roll and 1 tea towel so may need to bring a few extra bits to cover your back) Staff were friendly too which is always a bonus!

We had a fantastic weekend away, a welcome pause for 2 hardworking parents. We stayed in an elite pod which was clean, spacious and warm. The staff were great, we were met by Michaela who we found to be friendly and helpful. We had a small issue which was dealt with quickly. And Daniel who answered our queries promptly with a kind friendly manner. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it for people who respect their surroundings and want a quiet break on a clean peaceful camp. I do not see anything wrong with a campsite that expects its guests to adhere to the simple rules of the site, there are not many rules and the ones they have are to keep everyone safe and to make sure guests have a relaxing and safe stay.

The manager at the caravan park was extremely abusive and threatening towards me. They behaved like children and refused to listen to my concerns. They even made threats of violence towards me. When I called the office, a staff member apologized and said that this behavior is common because the managers are in charge. I had booked the place for a week, but my friend and I were too scared to return, so we had to find somewhere else to stay.

Never had such a bad experience or treatment before. Please read my review and do take this into careful consideration. We arrived on Friday at 8pm with a group of friends, couples with young children and a 5 months baby. By 10pm children were already in the tent sleeping and we set nicely outside near the fire enjoying a few drinks and having a barbeque. A lady with a very rude and aggressive attitude came to us saying we have to be quiet otherwise we leave the camping. We tried to explain that we are quiet and we are only talking as we have kids sleeping next to us, there is no music on and we are not load, nobody could hear us talking. From that moment everything has turned into a massive argument with her, she was making aggressive comments to us and she was standing few meters away watching us all the time. You know the feeling when a p.y.c.h.o.. is standing looking at you? we had the same....An hour later she came with another man, (not sure who he is, probably that Daniel that other people mentioned about in the other reviews) more verbally aggressive saying that we have to leave otherwise they will call the police which they did after we tried to explain the same, that the only noise is when she comes to us as we have to go over the same conversation and argument again with her. When the police came they even admitted that we are not noisy at all and they were already fed up with their complaints but as this is a private property we'll have to leave just because they don't want us there. We refuse to leave as it is not easy to wake kids up in the middle of the night and pack so many things, when the owner guy made a comment " just shake them, if you don't know how I will show you" ...never heard this before in my life from a good mental capacity adult, but he was definitely not ok. The way he was talking and expressing things we could see there is something wrong with him. The police officer has negotiated with them that we can definitely stay until next day, as we are not noisy, not being drunk but we are tired, had a few drinks only and we need to leave kids to sleep until next day in the morning. We went to sleep and next day in the morning while packing out staff we had experienced the same with them. Same lady arguing with us as we have to leave "right now". Here we go again...we need a few minutes to fold tents and get the kids ready without having a breakfast. We have asked our neighbours if we were noisy and they also confirmed that they couldn’t hear anything apart from the lady arguing with us and asking us to leave. My 9 years old daughter wanted to go to toilet and the same lady was standing in front of the door shouting at her that she is not allowed to use her facilities as she is from "that group of people that have to leave"...honestly, these people are the worst I ever seen, not mentally capable to run a business and definitely not able to have a normal conversation with you when you need something. We've left

If you want your camping trip to turn into the worst experience you had, going to this campsite is a must. I am still shocked by what happened, never ever experienced such rude and unsettling behaviour from someone. Especially when you spend some money to enjoy a good time out in nature and sit by the fire. We were made to leave the first night we arrived due to ‘noise’. We had definitely not been noisy, just sitting by the fire and whispering more than talking (I must add there was a blond women, ‘security person’ , watching our every moves from few meters away, and telling lies to the police about us swearing at her😐). Others confirmed we were not noisy, but the owner apparently wants you inside your tent all cost after 10pm. Owner made a lot of threats, we had children with us sleeping in the tents and he demanded we wake them up. Even had a small baby and he made a comment that if we don’t wake them up and leave, he will show us how to wake up a sleeping baby. Something definitely feels off, no stable adult talks like that. One more thing I must add, they denied the children access to the toilet. Honestly just wanted to leave in the middle of the night and not deal with someone with such a low mentality. I am pretty sure the owner will respond with the same excuses as he did on the other similar reviews. But please, do take the bad reviews into account, there are plenty of lovely campsites worth visiting, avoid this one.

Was very expensive for time of year. We booked for 3 nights but left after 2. The mattress was painfull to lay on, just like laying on metal springs infact we had to lay on top of the bed and put the quits from the spare room on us to keep warm. There was a terrible smell coming from the sink in the on-suite so the bathroom window had to be opened wide all the time. The settees were uncomfortable and stained. In total because we booked through ******* we paid £490 for three nights which because of the standard of the lodge we only stayed 2 nights. we won’t be visiting again.
