For me, it is not a question of cake in the room, but a indicator of the hotel's relationship to customers. We had a late departure and when a couple of hours before leaving the hotel there was no congratulations, I came to the resepshen to ask. After my question, “Is something on my birthday?” the staff began to convince me that from the morning they would bring a chiccake / sparkling (then they didn't agree) and everything would be super. In my answer that my birthday today and for me, apparently made an exception , without bringing anything, said , “that they are not responsible for congratulating the guests, that is done by someone else.” I have not heard even the elementary “birthday” from the hotel staff on my birthday. How carefully the hotel will treat me next time I don't have a special day - a rhetorical question for me. Likewise, when I approached the respiratory from the morning, asked when the beauty self opens, I was told ”we do not answer for them, they come somewhere to 11-12 hours.” When I approached the hour to the salon, there was a photo session of the model, apparently for the social networks. On my question, ”Can they wash and dry my hair” the staffer rolled his eyes and quietly told the administrator that she was planning to drink coffee and hair and I was offered to come an hour through 2-3 when I was already very uncomfortable. Usually, in all hotels with hands and feet are ready to pick up the customer, but apparently not here. I bet 4, because birthday once a year and not for all guests it is relevant. And location, breakfast, rooms are wonderful.

This hotel certainly demonstrates a high level of attention-to-detail in every way. Extremely friendly and courteous staff that goes above-and-beyond, however unfortunately it would be impossible to list all the names of the staff that well exceeded our expectations. The food was high quality and exceptional as well as the food service staff. Check-in was extremely easy thanks to the friendliness of the front desk staff that allowed us an early check-in on arrival (kindly note that this benefit is not always available). Everything at the hotel is clean and well maintained. The pool and associated amenities are among the best that we have experienced in any hotel; relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable. The hotel is well situated within close proximity to many attractions including the large and impeccably clean Minsk Aqua Park. The rooms are spacious and house keeping staff very accommodating. The price is extremely affordable in comparison to other more expensive hotels that don't measure up to this hotel's level (and we have stayed in many hotels around the world). We would highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Minsk for either business or pleasure!

We chose the Planet Hotel for a stop in Minsk on our 30th anniversary of living together. very comfortable hotel. Beautiful view of the avenue, park, river. I often fly to different countries and live in hotels accordingly, this time this hotel was relatively clean and good. I would probably even set the rating 4-5 if there were no girls from the resepshne. I do however feel like myself and my partner has gotten itchy skin at sleeping.. don’t know why because all the linens were clean.. maybe the bed needs treatment.. it is a comfortable place and bed. A very decent hotel, good location, 10-15 minutes walk to the center (Victory Park, Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, Gallery shopping center, Sports Palace), 10 minutes to the Molodezhnaya metro station. There is a large supermarket ”Korona” nearby, there is a parking lot next to the hotel. The rooms are simple, modest, but clean and tidy. TV, refrigerator, shower, hairdryer, everything worked. Soap, shampoo, constantly added, cleaning was daily. Comfortable soft bed. Wifi is excellent. The staff is very friendly, always trying to help. Very hearty breakfasts in the restaurant. There is a fairly good sauna, with a Russian and Finnish steam room, a swimming pool, billiards, a relaxation room. Nearby is the airfield ”Belarusian Yard” with cozy gazebos where it's nice to sit in the evening. The kebab is excellent :) Of the minuses: there is no elevator, which in principle is not critical, but it will be difficult for people with large luggage, the elderly and the disabled; no cups in the room, it’s good that they had their own (a kettle was immediately provided upon request); a bit dark in the corridors, perhaps saving electricity, but still. Location is very strategic , near with some of recreational objects. You can buy groceries at supermarket around there, there's many good restaurant with affordable prices, and you can change your money to Rubel in the money changer at supermarket. The rate is good. The room of apartment is good enough for 3 ppl. More than that will be cramped. The bath room is so clean, hot and cold water is good , and the washing machine works properly. The owner provides us transfer service to and from airport, with a good tariff. And the driver is so kind. Maybe the only one minus poin, is no elevator to go to 5th floor 😄. But fortunately we were helped by the driver to bring up our luggage.
