We had stayed in the room that faces the street if you look out of the window that is beside the study table. Stayed here for a week, it has a vintage character ”feel”to it. Cleanliness is ok, I had tested the housekeeping if they change our towels daily. Everything is tidy when we return every night. Even my personal belongings were organized neatly after rushing out (tornado of a mess) of the hotel for a tour. This hotel is near Wagner station thru metro so commuting was a breeze..... Receptionists (a young lady from Sicily and the guys) were superb especially Domenico. I love the coffee here and the breakfast is ok, I like the cold cuts selection and cheese for my breakfast sandwitch. How I wish the sliced tomatoes and cucumber was available daily. It appeared only once during our stay.

We stayed at Hotel Metro for 4 nights and 5 days. As a family of 5( 2 adults 3 kids ) we had suite which was absolutely spacious with 2 king size beds and one single bed with a massive size bathroom with shower, bath and bidet facilities. Room came with a terrace which had tables and chairs provided. Room had all amenities and if we needed anything we were provided without any delays. Hotel staff is very friendly and speak English as well so if you need any help with directions etc they can guide well. Breakfast included in the room is amazing. The menu was different type of crossaints, cereals, tea, coffee , juices, eggs , meat, fruits, cheese, yogurt etc. Everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel is located near wagner train station with M1 red line within 3 mins walk. Plenty of restaurants around the area including McDonald's for a quick meal. Some local restaurants we tried and would recommend are pizzium, feirouz ( Lebanese veg place ). The tram station is also within 5 mins walk and whole city is quite accessible using these links. Area has shops and galleria nearby, loads of nice cafes and gelato bars. There are 2 supermarkets near by as well. Delighted to choose this hotel for our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone going to Milan as a couple or with family.
Boutique Hotel Calais Milano

San Siro
Not the best hotel in the world, but certainly not the worst as some of the reviews suggest. Pretty much exactly what I’d expect from a budget hotel, in some ways even a little better. The room was a good size and clean and two of the three staff I met were really friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful including carrying my suitcase to the 4th floor (the other was fine, just not as good as those two). The room was pretty basic (no safe, no glasses) but was otherwise fine with good aircon and a nice enough view. The absence of a restaurant was no issue as there are so many cafes, bars and restaurants nearby and throughout the city.

This is a top stay. The staff is very friendly and thinking with you. The rooms are also good. Stop contacts next to bed, WiFi, a fine and warm shower and good air conditioning. We have no ratings regarding this hotel. We were well treated and the rooms were more than fine. Super fun days we had, thanks to the stay.
