I´m not sure how it is like to stay at Ostelzzz for several nights, but I find it a very convenient solution for me who arrived around midnight in Milan, and already had leave from Milano Centrale by noon on the next day. I had a proper sleep for one night in a capsule. It really was a hostel, but with so much better privacy. Staffs were extremely kind and helpful. They gave me a welcome drink. Online check-in in advance made my actual check-in so much easier. Had everything I needed, incl breakfast, towel too. Clean and well-organized. Breakfast was simple, but more than good enough for me. I wouln´t hesitate to choose Ostelzzz next time.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostel was pretty clean in all the communal areas. The floor in my door room was dirty but that could’ve been from people coming and going throughout the day. €3 for a coffee and croissant was a good deal and the coffee was potentially one of the best coffees I’ve had on this trip. Good location, close to the canals where there’s loads of food options and then close enough to all the landmarks as well. Bed was comfy too

The hostel was clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and helped us with any questions and gave us recommendations of where to visit. Having a 24 hr reception was extremely useful as there was always someone to chat too if we needed help. Not being able to take our keys out of the hostel gave us peace of mind that we wouldn’t lose them, so it was nice to simply hand them in to reception and get them back when we returned from our outings. While at the hostel we decided to go to Lugano, Switzerland on the train and we didn’t return to our hostel for over 24 hours, when we arrived back we asked for our keys and all was well with our room etc… If I return to Milan and want an affordable accomodation I would definitely rebook this as it is walking distance in to the centre of Milan also.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Very convenient location, pretty nice area. The Cadorna train station along with the metro station is basically around the corner. You can walk to Castello Sforzesco in less than 10 minutes, Duomo di Milano is reachable on foot in 18 minutes. The rooms were modern, clean, comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The reception was very friendly. For the price it’s amazing service and quality.

Apart from the noisy construction work right at the front door, there is nobody to assist with arrival, luggage, and no concierge either. Only ever one person on the front desk and not very happy either! A taxi will drop you on the road out front and then it’s up to you. Booked a Junior Suite for over €300 and it just was not up to standard. Lousy plumbing (not new to old Italian buildings), noisy, dull with lots of confusing light switches, air-con that sounds like a jumbo jet, and no tissues in bathrooms. So does that sound 5 Star? This hotel must have had some prestige back in the day but it would struggle to make a 3 Star ranking today. Location is not good either. Surrounded by graffiti and dirty looking buildings. A decent walk to Duomo, allow at least 15 minutes and very difficult to access Milano Central Station: at least 30 minutes and €30 in a taxi as the traffic is terrible with all the roadworks. Very good location; 5 mins walk from the station and 20mins walk to Duomo. Easy access to the Metro as well. The lady at reception who welcomed us when we arrived was very nice (half pony tail and blond). The phone in the room doesnt work; had to go down to ask for a kettle. The room is really small though as well as the bed. Great that they allow us to store the luggage before check in and after check out. View from the room overlooking the station is not bad. Not noisy.

The Hotel Brunelleschi is in a convenient location to the main attractions and amenities of Milan, a 5 minute walk in a safe location. The hotel is known for its' business travelers which is how we knew of the hotel from my husband's previous stays. It is clean and well appointed with a spacious lobby, restaurant and bar along with a large dining room on the lower level serving their breakfast buffet. The room was large,comfortable with an additional small sofa which was also a pull out bed. Multiple charges available. The bathroom was well outfitted with great fluffy towels. Generous breakfast buffet offered hot and cold items with a varied selection, even offering Proseco for those who wanted to make mimosas. Staff at the desk gracious and accommodating to questions and requests. Efficient in arranging our car transportation to the airport on departure.

Great location — close but just far enough from the Duomo and relevant subway stops to make getting around Milan easy and quick. The staff was so friendly and helpful and clearly had our safety in mind. The room was right below the lively rooftop bar with a great view of the city. The room itself was small but perfect for me, my husband, and young adult son. The rooftop bar was fun and felt so glamorous, too! Their menu was on also topnotch, a great place to enjoy aperitivo and enjoy the nightfall sky. You could hear the slight thump of music from our rooms, but that didn’t bother us at all. The gentleman at the front desk was also so kind and helpful with all our questions from money exchange to metro stops to restaurant recommendations and even fashion advice!
