Hotel San Lucas

Mexico City|2.79km from Santa Cruz
We chose this hotel by location because it is next to a metro and very close to the zocalo(centre) of Mexico City. The hotel in the reservation offered breakfast, but this is the chaos in that place, because it is served in the room and we call to ask and wait long over 1 hour to arrive in the room, only mexed eggs, beans, black coffee and a juice come. So if you have a walk or want another kind of food, you'd better go out and take coffee on the street. What happened to us. About the hotel: reception looks like a loterie in Brazil, people stay behind the glass and make all communication in a hole in the glass. The room is large and clean, but in the tower and shower comes two pins of water and in the shower goes everywhere, except in the person below, imagine women the chaos to wash their hair. We complained and the technician justed the shower a little but they didn't change our rooms. The takes are different and the hotel has no adapter. Well, back to the location: central, easy locomotion, but is in a mid-depressing area, in front of the camelodromo, full of food and clothing bark, no transfer localized the hotel to vcs have no idea. The inside of the garage is in a rough street, it seems a favela, but without danger, despite this confusion, we all arrived late and was always quiet. Silence: there is no, we listen to the nude a motor, or generator, I don't know, but it was very noisy, it turned on and turned off all the hour, if you listen to the other rooms, including the bathroom. Thanks to God, there are not many people who are home, so we only had noise at the weekend. If you want to be centralized like us, find another place because this hotel doesn't recommend, there are other better options in the center.

Excellent location for shopping. Good attention, it has its own parking lot shared with a public one. Just one detail: a lot of noise from guests entering and leaving. I don't know if it's a lot of echo in the corridors or that the administration asks the guests to be quiet, but they don't let them sleep.
Hotel Flamencos

I was excited about this place as I really didn’t want my family to stay at another Western cliche chain hotel that Mexico City is abundant in. In hindsight, I wish I had opted for the latter as … well, you know what to expect and, if need be, what to do to get your way. I had booked Hotel Flamencos for two stays, before and after our travel outside of Mexico City. The second stay was cancelled by me. Below are the reasons why.  A short summary of my trouble here: --I booked my room 6 months in advance (using a third party site) and communicated to the hotel directly about my expectations. All was almost overbearingly sweet, with promises of ”accommodation” showered all over. TO EMPHASIZE: I HAD ASKED TO LOOK INTO MY CONCRETE RESERVATION AND CONFIRM THAT MY TWO KIDS WOULD BE ACCOMMODATED. The answer? We confirm!  -- All niceness ended upon arrival at the hotel as, instead of a welcome, the front desk person extended a message of additional charges for my son, who is 14. Instantly, ALL this hotel was about was getting their additional 350 pesos (USD18) per night for my child. Me showing my  communication with the hotel didn't do a thing. Fine. Whatever! - It only got worse from there as ”the only room available” turned out to be A ROOM WITH NO WINDOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, they have those at this place on each floor, so, in case you are considering this place, please know that your room is ”based on availability.” As I threatened to LEAVE, they somehow FOUND the right type of room (granted, we showed up shortly after noon, so they did give us a courtesy of an early check-in). Thank you!  - The location of the hotel is TERRIBLE: flee markets, warehouses, LOADS of traffic, HUGE CROWDS OF PEOPLE queuing up for busses or just packing the area are  truly not very enjoyable. Aside from street food, which you may not be able to get easily (because of A LOT OF PEOPLE), no decent places to eat around. Hands down, there are MUCH better areas! - I killed 4 mosquitos in my room. Apparently, there is a way for them to get into your room through the bathroom. The stench from the kitchen downstairs gets into your room the same way, too. -- The breakfast is basic and easy to get tired of. The breakfast area is small. A few other details: - Amidst my check-in debacle, I asked to speak with a manager. Unsurprisingly, that person ”had a day off” (of course! :)). And it was the same guy who handled check in who continued replying to my emails, obviously rejoicing in the opportunity to practice English, rather than put the situation right. -- The manager was not to be found the next day, either. Nobody, aside from the front desk dude, ever reached out to me. I mean... I had requested a conversation with somebody who runs this place. Hellllooooo?  -- By day 3, an envelope was found in our room, reminding us of the need to t

I give this hotel 5 stars for some very simple reasons. It's got a good rate, it's a new building, the employees were friendly, the rooms comfortable and generally very clean. Bedding was fantastic, towels of decent quality, and the amenities were a good brand. (CO Bigelow). I took away a start because they list themselves on Orbitz and Expedia as a ”VIP Access” hotel for people who have elite status with Orbitz (or Expedia) of which I am Platinum. They did not offer any upgrade, late check-out, or even mention that I was a Platinum member of Orbitz or that they participate in the VIP Elite program. Sort of disappointing and they shouldn't be listed as a VIP Elite Hotel with Orbitz or Expedia if they're not going to honor what they said they would. (Because listing themselves this way helps them attract more customers such as myself.) Be more honest Fiesta Americana Viaducto Aeropuerto hotel.

I arrived in Mexico just before lunchtime and didn't fly out until later in the evening so wanted a place to get a shower, have nap and rest before the flight home. I used an app to search for hotels that offered a 'day rate' and found this one I was really impressed A taxi from the airport cost $MXN 45 and I was there within ten minutes Check in was fast and easy and free tea and coffee are available too The room was big, had great double gazing keeping out the street noise and a really good blackout blind so I got a few hours rest before taking a walk outside and grabbing some food from the stalls near the hotel. Just before checkout I realised I needed to print some documents and the reception did that for me for free, thanks I'd happily recommend this hotel and stay again, thanks, andrew

This hotel wall crack recommended! If there is any next time, continue to choose. Not in the city center, not far from Mocheng Airport, quiet, good surroundings, five or six minutes walk from the subway station, the hotel is on the side of the road, the domestic five-star level, spacious and bright, the pool gym is great, breakfast is super good, room The service is also superb, the room is large and clean, the bed is large, the two beds, sleeping four people are absolutely no problem, there are special sofas and desks, the bathroom and the bathroom, the shower room is separate, super comfortable and convenient. On average, more than 600 yuan a night, less than 700 yuan, the price is very high. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to run the airport. The front desk can help to set up a group tour for the pyramid. The front desk and lobby staff will speak English, but the room service will not speak English. The room service can only be ordered by the American friends of the same place. language.
