We couldn't get a hotel in Yorkton so we ended up here.
When we first pulled up I was very nervous. The exterior is rundown and definitely needs some improvements (the screen door fell off as soon as I touched it).
Check-in took a while since they couldn't find my reservation (I had only booked it a few hours earlier).
Staff was very polite and friendly though.
The room itself wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
The main area was clean (minus the empty pop can on the night stand). The corners, baseboards, etc needed a clean.
Some updates had been made like no carpet, newer furniture. Bathroom was quite dated, but clean.
Bed was comfy.
It was very quiet for sleeping.
No one was at the desk for check out. I waited a while but had to hit the road so I had to just leave the key at the desk.
Wouldn't be a place I'd want to spend the day relaxing in, but for a cheaper room to just sleep it was alright.
