Was actually really happy with our stay, the bed was very comfy which was a surprise for a hotel. Had Netflix on the TV and a nice balcony on 3rd floor. Thought the room was very nice for the price we paid. Reception people were helpful and polite. Will definitely stay there again in the future

This hotel is a hidden gem! The tram is at your doorstop, which takes you straight into the city. If walking is your thing then it will only take you 25 minutes. I was lucky enough to get a room with a view of Albert Park. My room had plenty of space to set up a work station as well as relax. The team on the front desk were welcoming and faciltated a speedy check in and out.

My wife and I had a nice stay here a few weeks back. It is pretty centrally located and reasonably priced which are the redeeming features. The location and rooms definitely look nicer in the photos, the rooms whilst large and well appointed are very old and worn… dented fridges, damaged furniture, bedside lights that don’t work etc. it’s all perfectly liveable it’s just not what I expected from the photos. Staff were friendly but the place just needs some TLC. If you think this is a nicely restored boutique hotel you’ll be disappointed, but if you’re seeking conveniently located, reasonably priced accomodation with low expectations it will be perfectly suited.
Crest on Park

Pros 1. The hotel can park for free, but parking is limited. 2. The rooms are fully equipped. There are ovens, cutlery, refrigerators, bread juices and milk in the refrigerator for free use. 3. Very close to the beach, 5 minutes walk, the environment is better. 4. The surrounding facilities are quite complete, walking distance to 7-11, pizza hut, Chinese restaurant, fast food restaurant. 5. After entering the hotel entrance at 22:00, you need to brush the door for self-service. Cons 1. Calling the apartment, the hardware and the accessories are good, but the building type is a bit like a luxury motel. If you plan to go to the beach near Melbourne, drive by car and hope to have free parking, it is highly recommended.
Pullman Melbourne Albert Park

I booked 10 nights at Pullman Albert Park, and got upgraded into privilege room. It was a pleasant stay. It shares the same facilities (restaurant, gym, pool etc) with Mercure, but it felt more like you're in Mercure than in Pullman. The hotel is a short tram trip to CBD. The tram stop is within walking distance, so it was convenient. I love that it is facing the Albert Park lake, such a vibe! The building is a bit old, but the room was still comfortable. The service was very good, everyone was really friendly. The only downside was that they looked understaff. I had to carry my own luggage when I left, and not many staff were present especially in the restaurant. But, everyone was very helpful! This hotel offers good value for longer stay. It's a perfect place if you want to explore more local activities such as: visiting the markets, exploring the surrounding (you can go to Royal Botanic, National Gallery of Victoria, Shrine of Remembrance), or going to the beach. Thank you for the pleasant experience!
