Landmark Hotel

Really nice hotel. Very good nightly rates I thought it might be too good to be true, but it lived up to and exceeded expectations. It’s a modern hotel with all the conveniences of a much more expensive alternative but you really could not want better. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly and efficient. The only slight draw back was the restaurant and bar arrangement. It’s all a bit Student Union orientated. The restaurant closed at 8 one night. Definitely aimed at young and trendy, but being neither I still liked it.

Beautiful design and a tranquil space away from the bustle of the club scene (though that is walkable if that is what you're interested in). We stayed in a queen suite and a queen room, and the designs are as great as the lobby (if a little tight). Beautiful rooftop and lobby, and three restaurants adjacent, including two vegan! Excellent and friendly staff.

The Landmark Hotel was a perfect place for us to stay in Medellin. The hotel itself is beautiful, and in a nice area of Medellin. Within easy walking distance to cafes and other attractions. We stayed in the loft room which gave us extra room for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens), it even had 2 bathrooms! The lower part is a little small, not much room for suitcases but we managed fine the loft separation was nice for the family. Also the concierge was very helpful with setting up tours and giving recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed this hotel. It’s in a great safe location, plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are well appointed, including a water filler in the room. The staff are great, we even had a massage which was amazing as well. The pool is a great place to chill, have a beer, meet fellow travellers although it needs more seating. I think maybe only 6 sun beds which get filled quickly. Only a slight ******, but you can’t put additional spends on your room, so drinks on the rooftop, breakfast downstairs or a massage all have to paid for directly. Which means you always have to carry cash or credit cards with you. But this is minor, we loved the vibe, the people and will return

Lovely boutique hotel, great decor, modern, comfy (small) room, very nice breakfast and there is hot yoga in the basement! Very attentive staff and good location. Super nice rooftop bar. Walking distance to restaurants. There is also an agency on site that organizes day trips.

The hotel is really cool and modern. The rooms are modern, bright and clean. The gym is also cool to workout. But also amazing was Celina from the reception who helped us with a request. Muchas gracias! That is why we enjoyed the stay at the hotel a lot.

Trendy hotel with great amenities and friendly staff, but gets a few things wrong. The queen suite duplex is badly designed. Full bathroom upstairs and downstairs but bed upstairs accesible from one side only as is against the wall and thus without beside table on one side. Do we really need two showers rather than have a decent bedroom? I think my partner who had to wriggle to get into the bed could answer that, Also didn’t get offered any help to carry luggage up to room nor did anyone explain how to close the blind on the skylight. On final night, and with my wife being a big sushi fan, we booked to dine on the rooftop. Asked for glass of white wine but they said they had run out of white and rosé. Small menu to start with, but we’re told couldn’t have tuna as chef said it was too frozen. We were then told the dishes we had ordered couldn’t be served either and that they were going to offer us complimentary dessert by way of apology. Well-meaning but not what we signed up for. On positive side the staff are lovely, breakfasts are great, and the hotel is very well located.

I didn’t know what to expect with a stay at a boutique hotel, but I couldn’t have been more pleased with the Landmark hotel and the staff’s service. We had one small bump - our room wasn’t made when we checked in - but Edwin and Christian were incredibly helpful in getting that resolved quickly and offered dinner while we waited. Throughout our stay they also offered great recommendations on where to eat, go and helped us get there. Aside from the outstanding service, the hotel is also in a great location-safe. Quiet neighborhood with great places to eat and close to public transportation. If I’m back in Medellin, or have friends and family visiting, I’m certainly recommending this hotel.

We loved this wonderful staff, the common areas, and the breakfasts at the General Cafe were stellar, The bed was comfortable and the shower worked. Because of the limitations of our room I spent a good deal of time in the cafes or on the sofas in the common area - very beautiful, comfortable, welcoming. There were some wonderful restaurants in an easy walk from the hotel for evening meals. My husband really liked the water tap inset into the wall. We originally booked the Deluxe Queen Suite but the bed & 2nd bathroom on the mezzanine had barely room to walk around the bed and it had steep cantilevered steps down to the very small sitting room on the main level. Both levels were VERY small, no desk, & no place for luggage on either level. I asked for a room change to have the bedroom on one floor, less dangerous for me. They had one room left, also very small, but it had a desk. I can't imagine who designed this hotel: no where to store luggage, no room in bathroom for grooming kits, only 1 plastic patio chair on the balcony. It's almost like they expected only single overnight business travellers with a carryon suitcase but I saw several other couples struggling with their luggage as well - any traveller on a long trip needs luggage! We put the beanbag chair onto the covered balcony (No rain scheduled) so we could at least stand up our 2 suitcases against the wall & put them on the bed any time we needed to get anything. We could JUST barely walk through the room. It's a shame because the common areas of the hotel are fantastic.
