The hotel is quite old and close to tourist attractions. I arrived at 8am and was able to check in early.The room smells rather musty. There is a water filter installed in the room.

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Regal Kowloon Hotel. The location was excellent but condition of the room we were provided was terrible. This was meant to be a "superior" room in a 4-star hotel. I would struggle to rate the hotel as a 2-star. The room was very dated and not well maintained. There were stains on carpet and furntiure, and bathroom was in terrible condition. This is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. We are also disappointed with Trip.com for providing indicative pictures of the room and rating this hotel as a 4-star - somewhat misleading. I would strongly recommended others to look elsewhere in Hong Kong. Had we not already paid in advance (non-refundable), we would have found alternative accommodation in Kowloon. Have a look at the photos and you will understand our concerns...thx.

The location is good near mtr east tsim sha tsui, if you need food there is food area near by, 8mins from avenue of star. I recommend this hotel for family of 4 or group of 4.

The location of the hotel was perfect for anyone who wants to live near city center (Tsim Sha Tsui) as you can walk like 3 minutes to East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station where you will be connect to massive places. The hotel is also near the bus stops to the Airport too. This was a convenient stay. The room was a little bit old yet fine for me. No nasty smoking smell in the room which is good. Highly recommended!

The hotel room is huge, AC is cold, no noises at night. The downside is that it’s a little far from TST and MTR (around 7-10 mins walk) but you can use shortcut through the park to TST. The staffs are very nice, they do room cleaning and give you new towels every day (we travel in 3 people and end up having 8 towels on check out day). The concierge is very helpful, we forget the luggage scale and we can borrow from them as well.
Though the hotel is a bit too old and dated, you can see some tiny mold at the corner of bathroom, the carpet has lots of dust which isn’t good for people with allergies, and the elevators are too slow even though they have 2 sides of them but you’d wait forever during peak time.
Overall 8/10 for me.

Overall not worth its 4-star rating as many things didn’t match the pictures or descriptions. The first room we got on the 7th floor was spacious but smelled of cigarettes. After asking to change the new room on the 8th floor was smaller even though it was the same room type and price.
Some listed amenities like the hair dryer were missing, the bathroom had mold stains, and there was dust around the headboard.
Housekeeping cleaned daily, and the staff were friendly and polite, but the hotel itself feels old and doesn’t live up to its price or reputation.

Very comfortable and more spacious compared to many other HK hotels. There is a filter water pipe in the toilet which can refill water.
