The Oberoi Mauritius has been by far the best hotel that we have stayed, this comment is made based on traveling across the world and not limited to travels in Mauritius.
The staff paid careful attention to satisfying our every need and personal food requests that were happily accommodated by the hotel’s chef. Having fallen ill while traveling, the hotel doctor was readily available for a consult and prescribed medication within a timely manner.
The visit to the spa was relaxing and all rooms were well-maintained. The therapist was able to provide treatments on our individual needs.
The room was beautifully decorated with a private pool and garden, this meant that we were lucky enough to have our breakfast with a magnificent sea view🌊.
Overall a true five star ⭐️ hotel that delivers an exceptional experience to its guests.

The resort is breathtakingly beuatiful, with incredible scenery in the background. What sets this hotel apart though, is the flawless service. The staff can never do too much for you, whether it is setting up a tennis court with towels and refreshments, putting up a big screen in the meeting room so we could watch Champions League football or making us whatever food we wanted at breakfast or dinner and completely accomodating our groups dietary requirements. The service levels from the chefs, restaurant team in going above and beyond are the best I have experienced in any hotel. One last thing, the resort is on the west coast and the sunsets are gorgeous.

What an experience. Everything was wonderful: the accommodation was great with comfortable beds and excellent bathroom facilities! The breakfast was succulent and so was the food for lunch and dinner. The spa, steam room and gym are excellent. The kids club is also wonderful and the activities such as rhum tasting, star gazing and magicians and the daily live music are also great. However, the level of service and care is what sets this hotel apart from the rest: from welcoming and check in experience and throughout all staff interaction, the staff has been amazing ! We can only name a few but Shaan, Adarsh, Ayushi, Natasha…all of them have been fantastic!

This is our sixth time here and it always impresses. The ambiance, food and all the staff are outstanding. It is a peaceful zen type experience, so if you want plenty of entertainment and games this won’t be the place for you. If you want 6 star quality and excellent service, in beautiful surroundings (there is a coral reef so will need beach shoes when swimming in the sea). We stayed 14 nights this time, usually 10 nights and we never felt it was too long

Courteous and respectful staff, always ready to help and assist. Stunning pools and beaches. Gorgeous views and breathing sunsets. One of the most relaxing trips by far in one of the most private resorts I’ve come across. I can’t wait to go back!

We have travelled the world, but The Oberoi will certainly take some beating the tentativeness of every member of staff was superb, the choice and quality of food was amazing, the hotel grounds were immaculate so quiet and peaceful, rooms were amazing, you are waited on hand and foot whether you are on the beach or in the restaurant.

Lovely arrival where staff come out to meet you. Overall staff were excellent and highly attentive. Villa was lovely, clean and well maintained. We were half board and the food was exceptional. Drawbacks are alcoholic drinks are extremely expensive and so would the food have been had we not been half board. Beaches not great and much better on the other side of the island.

What an amazing hotel The Oberoi is. The whole experience there was wonderful. We arrived late at night after a busy couple of weeks in South Africa. What we needed was peace and relaxation. We got it in spades. The staff are absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is possible. We went for the half board option and it functions disappoint. The good was fabulous. There are so many options on the menu it’s hard to choose. I’m sure if you had the appetite you could have them all!! We had a trip round the herb garden with Singh which was very informative. Who knew you could use herbs in so many different ways. We didn’t use the facilities on offer. Apart from the gym. We definitely will next time though. We can’t wait to return.
