Hotels near JR Shinainuma station, Matsushima

Stayed for family trip in the prefecture. I was happy to have two children in the room with a wide 々 with a veranda. The view from the veranda was also very good! I was very grateful to have beds attached in advance and prepare extra beds for children. There was a bed for 1 people, but I slept with everyone in a big bed, but I could sleep well even if there were bad children (laughs) The meal was very delicious. The seafood of BBQ was luxurious and surprised! Cospa is the best! I'm worried if I'm not mistaken for other guests (laughs) The children were crazy about bone sausage and big shrimp fry! The rental bath was good. I thought it was smart and good to stick a seal at the time of hope. It was a half hour, and I thought it would be good to have a little longer. I want to go again! We have had the loveliest of stays here! It is a very friendly hotel, and it felt like an authentic modern Japanese experience. The buffet for dinner and breakfast were amazing, with lots of fresh fish and salads. We were travelling for a special birthday, and the hotel kindly gave us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate, which was a lovely touch! The onsen (sento) was quite an experience. It is separate for men and women, and has a beautiful outdoor pool with views over the bay, which is highly recommended! We had a Mountain View room, but this didn’t detract from the enjoyment at all. There is not really a bar to have pre-dinner drinks, but there is a gift shop which sells beer and wine to enjoy in your room. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d highly recommend it to all travellers!

First time using this. Look online and choose Sakura's room on the 4th floor. It was a trip to honor each other's hard work for many years on each other's 60th birthday. A satisfying dinner that I had without saving. After the meal, the hotel staff gave us a surprise celebration 💮 A wonderful performance at the timing when we were saying, “Let’s go back to our room soon” 🎇 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your thoughtfulness. Thank you very much to all the friendly staff who took care of us. Next time I would like to use it with my family for 3 generations 😊

I am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before. Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here. Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.

The hotel is a kind of 2/3 star Ryokan, the owners are very kind, especially the lady running the hotel, she found somebody to take my luggage upstairs and back down when I was leaving. In fact the elevator is not in use.... BFast was not included in my plan, so I paid extra ,just a few hundred yens , I tried the japanese and the western BFast, both were average . The Ryokan is not new , but rooms are very spacious and they ressemblent more to a japanese flat, comparing with the surface of other hotels' rooms I had in Japan. The room was spotless .. There is also a hot bath at 3rd floor, where I went 2 times, smal but pleasant, I was the only user, at those times. I also had dinner at the hotel, in a nice Japanese style dining room ( where I had BF too ...), the menu is Korean , and had for the first time fried oysters from Matsushima bay.... The room was very quiet at night and I liked this japanese style type of rooms, I think I' d go there again , they also have a good quality/ price rate ...

The hotel is quite new, hygienic and clean. But the layout is close to the window and the toilet wall, which I don't like. The pillow is too high for me. I asked the front desk to change a short pillow, and then I slept comfortably. It's more comfortable to stay in a twin room for one person, the bed is big.

We were deciding between The Westin Sendai Hotel and another hotel located right at the train station for the same price of SGD155 per night in Dec 2023 and I’m glad we went with The Westin Sendai. Firstly, their service is impeccable and truly living up to a luxury hotel’s standard. Secondly, their hotel’s view is impressive considering that it is the tallest building in Sendai. We walked to the Sendai's Pageant of Starlight and it was a very comfortable and cooling 15 min walk. 100% would recommend The Westin Sendai when you come to Sendai.

The room is very big, the garden view is very beautiful, and the service attitude is pretty good. Although it is not convenient to travel in the hotel, there is a free shuttle bus that runs once an hour, which is quite good. There are also taxis waiting at the door. Public transportation is also acceptable.

From the eyes of the 6th, the eyes and the nose. I got wet in a little rain. I applied for an iron loan to extend my shirt, but unfortunately all are on loan. I asked for it to be borrowed before departure, but the next morning, I was contacted and delivered early. I was saved. The meal was necessary and sufficient for Viking. It was delicious from the morning.
