Smy Kos Beach & Splash

One of the best experiences we ever had. We stayed there for 4 days. Let me start from the location. This place is 20 minutes from the airport (Taxi costs 25-30 euros). The reception was super friendly and explained everything upon arrival. There is a mini market just near the pool and you get most of amenities. The room which we got had an amazing view! The room was clean and every day they cleared the room. It was all inclusive. The food was great, being a buffet means you will need to add salt and pepper for your tasting, which is known. But the variety of dishes and quality was better than many other places. All the staffs were friendly and polite to us. The bar had many cocktails and they were friendly and always had a smile on their face. Overall our experience was beyond our expectations and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful vacation. Also, if you want to go to the Town, there is a bus stop nearby (5 mins walk) and costs 3,50 euros.

I cannot fault this hotel or the facilities. I stayed for a week in a bungalow with my 10 year old and 5 year old and both had the best time with both of them enjoying the splash park. The pools were very clean and well maintained, food was varied and delicious. Fresh cooked, pizza and fish daily at the beach bar, omelette made to order at breakfast and so many delicious dessert options every evening. Nice selection of included cocktails and even so kids cocktails available. I need to give a special mention to Marvin who is exceptionally good at his job, he got everyone involved at the mini disco and my girls said it was probably the best one they had ever been too. He even played my oldest favorite mini disco song at 8pm the night we were leaving so she didn't miss out. Thank you everyone at Smy, we had a wonderful time.

A little disappointment when we first arrived ie with one of the rooms offered to a member if my family.. We need not have worried.. Connie the customs Manager was straight on the case.. during our two week stay she went up and above board to make sure we were comfortable.. My family x 9 of us were impressed. The Entertainment Young Man ..Marvin was also brilliant at making everyone on hols enjoy their time away.. Thank you all including the rest of your staff Connie.. thumbs up.

Didn’t like it. Low quality hotel for this payment It looks much worse than photo. Everything needs renovation or much less price. Can’t recommend this hotel The food is low quality and poor variety, the worst are breakfasts. One good thing is room service (cleaning).

The staff and team here are absolutely amazing anything you ask and they will do everything in their power to help you out big shout out to Marvin for great entertainment every night and a huge congratulations to koni for organising and helping us set up for a wedding she made us feel welcome and done everything in her power to make it the best and she did so huge props to her thank you again

Overall it was a decent holiday, the staff are very friendly and always willing to help with any inquiries. The entertainment team are great especially Marvin who is always happy and speaking to the customers. Only let down for the entertainment is there is only 30 minutes for the kids and it’s the same thing / songs every night then they are told to be removed from the dance floor so evening entertainment is on rather is be a quiz, karaoke, picture quiz. Seeing at though the holiday is meant to be for families, the entertainment at the night only being 30 mins mini disco let’s it down a little. The pools are great, baby pool for the little ones and the big pool, the infinity pool is beautiful and over looks the sea. Only problem is there is no life guards over looking any pools or beach. The splash park is good for the kids and mine loved it. The food was okay, freshly made pizzas, always rice and chips if you’re picky like me and don’t like certain food, always fresh fruit out and decent desserts. Food at the infinity pool snack bar is the best for dinner. The rooms are always cleaned to a high standard and well maintained. Always had fresh water everyday to our room. We had problems with the air conditioning and someone would come sort it out straight away. Only problem we found was the back door never locked so anyone could get through the back being on the bottom floor. I personally wouldn’t come back again only because of location as you are quite a little way out from places but the island is absolutely beautiful and I love Kos.

We all had the most amazing time here best holiday in a long time, staff have been so lovely and welcoming. Hotel was clean and comfy beds with aircon, great food and pool areas couldnt of asked for more will be going back again as soon as we can

Loved it! We had such a lovely experience! Dimitri, Thule and Marvin were so lovely and friendly! The pool facilities were wonderful! The water park for my 2year old daughter was just fantastic! She loved it!!! Just the little family break we needed. The food was varied although I was hoping to have more Greek food however I understand that they’re catering for all tastes

Very lovely hotel - the staff, surroundings and food were all excellent. The private beach is easily accessed and has free loungers and umbrellas. The views are stunning. The pools are in good condition. Reception are extremely helpful and friendly. All speak good English but we learnt some Greek - you have to make some effort in think. The rooms are great - comfortable beds, good shower, toiletries provided which are nice. We were AI, as vegetarians it can be hard to get consistently good food but the chefs here are great. Loads of fabulous salads, pizza, roasted veg, etc etc. The hotel isn't in Mastachari. There's some good shops and tavernas within walking distance. Also a beautiful church within the complex, great icons. The bus is worth looking at, we used it to get to Kos town. We hired bikes 1 day and it's blissfully flat everywhere we cycled. The salt flats are nice ;no shops but tavernas nearby. The airport is a short distance. Would recommend for a relaxed break.
