*ZERO STAR* Pool was freezing, you couldn’t even go in . Not once did i see anyone clean the pool and no ph testing. If your going with kids you cant let them in the pool they will catch a cold night 1. The staff were unfriendly especially the older staff, there was nothing nearby the hotel and didn't feel safe walking around the area.The shop in hotel is a joke they change the price every time so they can still your money. The entertainment was absolutely rubbish. We had to make our own entertainment. Don’t get me started on the food. Cockroaches spotted where we was served. Plate wasn’t clean & food wasn’t fresh. I wouldn’t recommend you eating there unless you want to be on the toilet for 3 days. I wouldn't return to this hotel. Don’t book this hotel!!!! Don’t waste your money. Read all the feedback and see what all the bad feedback have in common.

An excellent hotel, just the only fault would be the location a bit out of the city center. For people who like tranquility this is a good location.

The hotel feels very good, the room is not very big, the bathroom is a little old, some service staff are a little impatient, and some are very good. But the bed is quite comfortable and there is a big balcony. The scenery of the yard and the swimming pool are nothing to say. It's a great place for a relaxing vacation. The price is more expensive than the Four Seasons in Tunisia, so the price of more than 400 is actually a bit expensive. But guests who are not sensitive to price must choose this place.

I recently stayed at Palais Mehdi in Marrakesh, Morocco and it was a truly fantastic experience. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. An escape from the chaos of the city center to return to at the end of the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. And let's not forget about the beautiful pool, which was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. Free parking too! Overall, we had an amazing stay at Palais Mehdi and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Marrakesh. The property is as it is represented. Beautiful colors and architecture and is pristine. The staff is more impressive, which in my book is far more important. The check-in process was a little frustrating because I was cranky. The man who checked me in was unendingly patient, welcoming, friendly, and professional. He made sure I understood everything about the property and security. Quite a feat, as he speaks Arabic and French and and I do not. He gave me a tour of everything. The process for meals is lovely. This is a bed and breakfast, so an elaborate tasty breakfast is available until 1000. To eat breakfast, you let the chef know by 1600. He goes to the central market to purchase what's fresh. My dinner was delicious. The aroma wafted up to my room and brought me down to the dining area a little early. The wait staff is first rate, had perfect English, and was delightful. Know that it's a 2-3 block walk from parking areas to the property. It's an easy stroke, but something to know.

Lovely would recommend. Cheap and cheerful. Don’t know why people are so negative about this place, I would stay here again. Clean, beds made everyday, clean towels, friendly staff. Located twenty minute walk from the square, and the souks. Off licence around the corner, which sells plenty of beer, wine and spirits. £11.00, for a bottle of wine and six beers. Highly recommended!!!

With the hindsight of some of the reviews i have read on this hotel, my conclusion after just staying here for a few days is they are absolutely not giving the hotel the justice it derserves. Yes the hotel is old, might be some tiles missing here and there' or some wall plug not sitting 100 % in the wall. But generally its not a problem that can't be solved if you ask the staff they are both friendly and helpfull. With a large family in marrakech and the experience of travelling here every other year for the last 30 years this is nothing out of the ordinary on hotels of marrakech unless you are staying at something absolutely high end hotel which will probably cost you small fortune Garden is magnificent with a spacious pool area, friendly and helpfull staff that solves any problems you might have, good food with fair prices. Rooms are spacious well ventilated (Ive read a lot of people complaining about the A/C, to that i can just say morocco is one of the warmest places on earth specially during the summer time and thats not anything even the best A/C can solve) The only negative thing is the area around the hotel once was a ”highend” district with lots of luxury hotels sadly the last couple of years the area has been in decay leaving it quite ”dead” which means you have to find a taxi to get to anywhere interesting which is not a big cost (20Dh-40dh), but can be tricky if you are travelling more then 3 persons due to lack of big taxis and the fact that small taxi´s only take 3 people. Not bad, the location is a bit remote

We just arrived home from a fantastic week in Marrakesh after staying at this superb resort. There was not a single negative to our stay and the hotel and facilities truly were a desert paradise. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, we were looked after by the staff in all aspects. From the receptionists to bar staff and the cleaners to the entertainment team, everyone was so friendly, helpful and fun. Our room was fantastic as well with traditional tiles and decor, it had all the necessities we needed. The double bed was huge and so comfy! The entertainment was fantastic all week with plenty of different activities to during the day as well fun shows at night. The members of the team really made the effort to know you personally too. The food was absolutely amazing as well, from Moroccan dishes to plates around the world, there was always something to choose! The desserts deserve their own review because they were incredible! The excursions on offer were also very reasonably priced and helped to contribute to this memorable trip. The free shuttle bus into Marrakesh Town center was reliable and plentiful. All in all, this was the best way to visit Morocco for the first time. We were sad to leave but happy we stayed here. I would recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you Sol Oasis Marrakesh!
