Hotels near MBI BUILDING, Manila

This hotel is adequate, but slightly overpriced vs. competition. While they have updated the lobby in recent years, from what I can tell there has been little effort to update guest rooms, which are dated vs. other 5 star properties like the Westin. The one differentiating factor this hotel previously had was a great breakfast buffet served in the Pacific Lounge on the 21st floor with floor to ceiling windows that gave a sweeping view of the skyline and the bay. It was carpeted with cushioned club chairs and those soft surfaces absorbed noise and the overall experience was a great way to start your day compared to the crowded and loud breakfast buffets at other 5 star hotels. Well someone decided to spend a lot of money to destroy that experience. They have opened a new restaurant on the first floor that is loud, crowded and gives you a view of 7-11 across the street instead of the bay. I spoke to the GM about this, so he already knows my opinion, but what continues to strike me is his point that the Pacific Lounge is “a premium space” - yes Sir, that’s true and previously it was one that virtually all your guests got to enjoy which is exactly why it was THE difference maker for this hotel. I came back thru Manila for a night on May 15 and was going to try the Sheraton one more time, but it was fully booked. Instead I stayed at the Westin for less money. There was no comparison- the Westin’s rooms have a much higher end finish, their food was better, and the service there was far superior like being provided a welcome drink and the Manager sending fruit to my room with a welcome note. The Sheraton Manila Bay is no longer on par with Manila’s best hotels

The pool is good, but the administration department could be more accommodating, especially for foreigners. The process to pay the pool fee can be frustrating, as they prioritize lengthy transactions first. While this is within their rights, it would be better to allocate a cashier for shorter transactions. The toiletries and towels are good, but it would be nice if they could add comforters and bedsheets for the pull-out bed. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will return.

During my recent trip to Makati, I stayed at Abraham Manila. After a 4-hour bus ride from the province, arriving at Abraham Manila was a welcome break. I chose their double room, which was just right for my short stay in Manila. The room was cozy and comfortable, providing a nice place to relax. If you're looking for affordable options, they also have dormitory accommodations. One of the best things about my stay was the water refills on the 7th floor, which was really handy. And having a dedicated working booth was great for getting work done remotely in a quiet space. The staff at Abraham Manila were amazing, always ready to help with anything I needed. Plus, the hotel's location in Poblacion, Makati, was perfect. There were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby to explore, making it easy to find something new to try each night.

My stay at I'm Hotel was great, checkin was fast and easy, fully transparent. The hotel accommodated all my requests, and a great room was provided fully equipped and pristine. I like their water dispenser where one can fill their water bottles up for free. The staff are absolutely delightful, helpful and cheerful which adds to the air of positiveness and professionalism. The location is superb. Best of all was the breakfast and spa. The rooftop bar had great views, vibes and food. Room city view was spectacular. Thank you and looking forward to staying there soon. SLOW WiFi!😭 the 5G mobile data is 10x better. It needs a serious renovation. Mould in the bathroom might be a health concern. The wood in the structure of the interior is falling apart. There’s a construction above my room on a daily basis hammering for hours. The AC kept on failing as it is old. I stayed for 3 nights and it’s a shame that the location is perfect close to MOA. I hope they will improve in the future as it has a potential to be a great 3 star hotel. I’m rooting for you.

Pretty much brand new hotel which represents outstanding budget value in location convenient for Trinoma and SM North malls. Staff are courteous and helpful, also good security from attentive and polite guards. Rooms and showers very compact, neat and clean. Beats the competition from Red Planet and Go Hotels. Also free onsite parking and good WiFi (although went down on one night we stayed there).

My experience at ibis Styles Araneta was nothing short of delightful. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options nearby. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered to all our needs with a smile. What truly set this hotel apart was its breathtaking view, which I enjoyed from our room and while dining. And let's not forget the charming ambiance of the restaurant and cafe – the perfect spots to unwind and indulge in some culinary delights. Overall, ibis Styles Araneta provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality, making my stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return with our families!

Booked Kingsford Hotel Manila for pre-advance Mothers Day celebration with my family last May 11 to 12 and i could definitely say it's all worth it ❤️❤️❤️. Checking in and out will just take a couple of minutes ( if there was no long queue). They also give priorities to Senior citizens, pwds, pregnant and those with babies/toddlers. Thumbs up to all the very accommodating staff ☺️❤️ - from the guards at the entrance, the Bellboys who attended to me immediately, Ms. Jessica at the front desk who gave me options for available rooms closest to my requests (understandably, the hotel is jam-packed at that time for Mothers Day),Mr. Roy and his companions who assisted us with our luggages and who gamely posed for my requested video ❤️ , the housekeeping staff for sending the crib & bathrobes I requested and Ms. Angel of the Guest Services whom I first inquired to before I booked. We love our room 😍. Though I wasn't able to get the Deluxe Twin with Okada view, Ms. Jessica was very kind to offer us another option, the Deluxe Queen which is on the 18th (the highest floor), but still with the pool, the main road and a slight view of Okada ❤️. Thanks so much again Ms. Jessica ❤️❤️❤️. The room was very neat and simply beautiful. I so love the floor to ceiling window and all the view including the coastal road 😁. Love your very comfy couch, the carpet ❤️. There's a TV, a mini ref, phone, clothes rack (instead of a cabinet), 2 hair dryers (which I wasn't able to use - not functioning), the usual slippers, safe & a basket for laundry I guess. AC can be controlled too. Since its Mothers Day, i was also expecting a lot of people in the pool area, 😁. Fortunately we enjoyed swimming since the water has just the right temperature. Not too cold, not too warm. I just wish they installed more pool umbrellas during that time I didn't have a review for breakfast since we opted not to get one (for the reason that I'm expecting a long queue during breakfast buffet 😁). Reheating has a fee of P500 if you want your own food to be reheated. Bringing of food and drinks is allowed - a plus!😁❤️ Location is accessible and near to malls - Ayala Mall by the Bay, MOA. Okada is just about 5 minutes walk of which we took advantage of and went back to hotel. Overall - We truly enjoyed our stay and recommends this 4- star hotel for staycations 😍 and will book again 😍 Thank you very much Kingford Hotel Manila ❤️❤️❤️

The BGC location is very cost-effective. When I checked in, there were two security guards and two nannies who helped me carry my luggage to the unit. The service was good, the room was clean, and the price was reasonable👍

Had a wonderful staycation at Savoy Hotel Manila. Appreciated the effort of one of the room attendant named Ian Laurente for being amiable and always available to assist us with any requests. Room was spotless and well maintained. We also enjoy the whole night relaxing with a great view. Will definitely go back again
