Stayed 2 nights. I might as well not have bothered sleeping. Between the cleaning staff yelling at each other and throwing and dropping things loudly and my “quiet” room was next door to the cleaning people’s closet. I asked for a QUIET room. I overpaid for the room for each night. The walls between the rooms are paper thin. It’s a good thing people didn’t use the rooms for romantic getaways, unless you’re an exhibitionist, expect your business between the sheets to be broadcasted widely across the hotel property. The doors kept opening and closing and slamming and opening and closing. Then every noise I made when shifting resulted in everyone else shifting. When a knock happened on the shared wall, the other side thought it was me and knocked back. I was 8 feet from the wall, but I guess they can’t see and not take it personally.
There was curly hair on towels from last set of guests. Thankful my mom taught me to not be too nit picky. The highlight? The front office staff. They made everything smooth and easy like a 5 star hotel; too bad my experience after the front counter was downhill from there.
So hotel staff, get yourselves promoted to other places! Y’all rock. Everything else? Welp…
