Joali Maldives

Perfection! We spent 7 nights at Joali and it was outstanding in all aspects, superseding any expectation we had. A warm arrival greeted us after a long journey and whisked to our villa by the wonderful Latheef, our jadugar (butler) who could not have looked after us better, he is a legend. All requests can be arranged via WhatsApp, which made our experience seamless. Our villa offered everything you could dream of from a plush bed, gorgeous view, private pool, sunbeds, hammock, platform to swim straight from the villa. The housekeeping were excellent and attended to us well throughout our stay. You have a choice of whether to cycle around the resort on your personalised bike or be escorted by your jadugar via buggy. One of our highlights was the food offerings, every restaurant served high quality / the best in the industry meals which are incomparable to elsewhere. We especially loved food created by Mehmet Sahim (at the restaurant Tu’hu), who organised the most delicious Turkish/ Mediterranean private treehouse dinner menu taking into account my dietary restrictions and was one of the best meals of our life, and when we attended the main Tuh’hu restaurant he also created a special offering for us. Aside from the food itself the locations of the restaurants were stunning and incredibly romantic (we stayed over valentines). The resort also offers a decent gym, great water sports / diving facilities and puts on daily activities for guests to enjoy such as cooking classes, wine tasting, sake tasting and crafts at a small surcharge. Honestly this is hands down one of the most magical and perfect hotels we’ve encountered, couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Simply Amazing from arrival to departure. I have been to the Maldives 4 times now and I love this place. Great Staff , Great food, very clean and even one of the best massages I have ever had . The General Manger Shifaz Hassan was amazing, he gave us an upgrade and attended to our needs himself, he was very kind. Our Butler Yusri , was really great booked us everything in advance from restaurants, spa etc.. and got us everything we needed when we needed. I also loved the festive Christmas decorations, and the New Year’s party was lovely and fun! A luxury 5 star experience that you are getting what you expected and more. I would definitely go back.

Our Jadugar Viennie was very nice and all the activities were well organized by her. All the staff on the island were extremely friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. The coaches in marine centre were very professional and brought us a great experience in snorkelling extravaganza and turtle quest. A great vacation in JOALI！

Everything was better than we expected: the food, service, personnel, facilities, and the range of activities at the resort are amazing. Special thanks to our butler Misbah; he did his best, and our trip was fantastic. It felt like home, and we will never forget this mesmerizing experience! Definitely one of the best trips ever!!!

This is our first trip in Maldives, one of my friends Ms Sue told me Joali is a good choice for stay. We try Italian and buffet, Bellinis restaurant is very amazing, and Vandhoo our breakfast has Chinese menu, even there is a staff he was help ladies arrange the bikes, all the staff is very friendly. Especially Regina, she’s very patient and details . Definitely coming back.

Truly a 5 star deluxe resort, and of the same league as One & Only Reethi Rah, while being better in many respects. The accommodation is beautifully designed and very functional (think gessi taps / control4) and the island itself, while small, is wonderfully situated, with clear views, beautiful beaches and some good snorkelling spots. The food is excellent across the board, and the spa is also fantastic. What really stands out however is the service; on certain days the hotel was fully occupied but the service was consistently seamless, intuitive and more than anything, highly personal. Nothing is too much trouble, and the way in which needs are anticipated and communicated among staff is truly exceptional. There is also a genuine warmth and friendliness which shines through. Particular thanks to Adam our Jadugar for his tireless efforts to make our stay so enjoyable, and to Hana at the kids club, with her abundance of good heart, humour and sense that instantly makes parents and children alike feel at ease. Restaurant staff Gandeep, James, Mashal, Zina, Sira, Kapil - thank you, you guys are fantastic!

One of the best resorts I had been in Maldives I come every year with my whole family children grand children we are 14 people We enjoyed a lot the children programs was amazing the sea was very clear and the water sports specially the diving experience is one of a kind

My stay at JOALI was exceptional. The staff, particularly Zhola, were incredibly attentive, ensuring all my needs were met with the utmost care. The team was uniformly friendly and kind, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my visit. I celebrated a birthday during my stay, and the arrangements made by the team were wonderfully thoughtful. Their helpful and accommodating nature made my time at JOALI truly memorable.
