Fabulous hotel. Great staff, beautiful rooms, very comfortable bed, free movies on the tv, don’t need Netflix. We arranged massages before we arrived, which I recommend doing. She was an excellent massage therapist. From the bellboys to the barmen, everyone was fantastic. Five star experience.

Deserves to be a five star hotel in Lyon, with friendly staff. I booked a classic room breakfast for about 1.3K a night. The breakfast was pure western style, but there was a lot of fresh fruit, which was also very cheap in Europe. The view is good, the location is good, and the subway is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. After going to the old town for dinner, I walked back to the hotel and it took 25min. Drinks in the mini bar are free (with fruit juice and cola).

This is a fun property. It's an old building that was a hospital before it was converted. The building is spectacular. It was also very clean. The rooms are quite large - by any standard and especially French standards. The space was also very well utilized. The bathroom was similarly large and well laid out. The location is excellent - near the rivers and lots of tourist areas. It's an expensive area but that's not unexpected. The wifi was good and the A/C worked well. The airport is outside the city so it costs about 50-60€ each way. The property was very quiet. They did a nice job insulating the windows to block traffic noise. Bottom line, I would absolutely return.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. We stayed in an executive room and there was plenty of space to work and enjoy all the views of the 2e neighbourhood. Location was perfect to explore the central part of Lyon. Breakfast buffet was great (fresh fruit, pastries, cereals/granola), not sure about the cooked food because we didn’t try it. beautiful setting. The food with room service was only ok, possibly because compared to the rest of Lyon it wasn’t as incredible, and possibly because the restaurant was undergoing renovations so it was not at full capacity. The spa was small but manageable because we needed to book the time (preventing too many people in there at once). The floors were very slippery and my partner hit his head - I think this needs to be fixed (we were not the only ones slipping everywhere when the floor was wet).

This was the second time I had stayed at the Grand Hotel des Terreaux. The hotel is in a central location in Lyon, and I like the style. The service was excellent, they speak English, and I loved the breakfast buffet. The room I stayed in was very nice but on the smaller side, typical for hotel rooms in France. The bed was very comfortable for me, and the room had air conditioning which is great as it can get quite warm in France. Wireless access was included, and fast and reliable. Overall an excellent hotel I can highly recommend.

Stayed 3 nights here in early September 2022. The hotel is right next to the train station in a building with the Mercure and Ibis budget hotels inside as well. At the moment, and still, the same entrance is used for the Ibis styles and budget hotels, which is a bit bothersome. Staff not friendly / welcoming. Breakfast is basic, often supplies are not refilled (staff very slow) and messy. There is not a lot of space. The bar is closed so for the welcome drink had to go to the Mercure hotel bar. Room was on 9th floor with a nice view of the train station. It was very quiet - they have 2 windows. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Room itself a bit worn down (walls etc.), but I guess it is a busy hotel and not all travelers behave. Overall a nice base for the weekend in Lyon. Walking time to the city centre and the main tourist sights amounts to around +-30mins. WARNING!: Be very careful with the vending machine here, next to the reception & elevators: a bottle of water costs 2 Euro. I was charged 3 times 2 Euro for one water bottle and I am now trying to figure out how to get my money back! Also very strange that as a Gold member they do not provide 2 bottles of water for free in the room per day!

The Tilsitt Park is to avoid strongly after booking a week in advance, we arrive on day J and the staff of the badly friendly parking to possible announces that it is complete, that we had badly understand and it puts us there! I recommend this hotel but not the Tilsitt parking.

Inaccessible in car No parking in this hotel.You need to find a place in the streets around and this is an impossible mission, the parking of the Bellecourt Square is still overloaded and there is a waiting line to stop The room is small, it is impossible to move around the bed. It is better not to be overcoated to get into the shower where the smell of the waste is refouled :-( -One of the two is working ... -Don't forget to ask for the WiFi codes when you arrive because you will not have access to it from the closet of the reception to the tomorrow.When you have to work tonight, it's all wrong! -Wait very long behind the door...Fortunately the service lady was handled not very far. -On the other hand, this lady was very pleasant and did a remarkable clean work!!! -The only positive point, the location on the foot street near the old Lyon.
