Since there is a hotel reservation intermediary, there is a trouble that Trip.com cannot confirm the reservation because it is a hotel that does not contract directly, but contacted Trip.com and managed to solve it. Staff was very helpful and listened to requests as much as possible, food, fruit, drinks, Mac, orders etc Location was very good and we were able to walk to Luxor station, Luxor temple and Karnak temple There is also a taxi exclusively for the hotel, and it is easy to ask to go to the ruins such as the valley of the royal family Easy to consult because the owner can speak Japanese Especially recommended for Japanese travelers and those who want to travel cheaply
Susanna Hotel Luxor

Stayed here as part of G Adventures Highlights of Egypt tour. Not much positive to say about the place except I've got to give accolades to the housekeeping guy. He was also friendly and even made some towel art creatures every time he serviced the room. A very nice guy. But you can't go past the ridiculous high prices for laundry. It's per item and starts at one US dollar for a pair of underwear. I mean I'm not from the US and we're not in the US so why are we using a currency that isn't Egyptian pounds? I went to Antarctica who have a monopoly for anything you buy as you're on a ship and their laundry prices weren't that ridiculous. If you're on the G Adventures trip do your laundry at the hotel before this, there it was also per item but only a couple of Egyptian pounds per item. So you can wash everything in your bag for the price of one or two pairs of underwear at Susanna. If you've left it too late the hotel in Alexandria is also quite reasonable. Breakfast was so bad I didn't go back after the first day. These guys couldn't care less about the environment, Every bit of stale bread and every other inedible thing is wrapped in multiple layers of plastic. You've got to pay extra (remember you paid for a room that includes breakfast) for a cup of orange juice. There's no water with breakfast either, you can buy bottles and other beverages in the foyer though.

The hotel was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. It was our last hotel in Egypt and the best one! All the staff were friendly and ready to help in anything but we want to especially thanks to the Guest Relations Catherine, she made us feel welcomed and she was friendly, helpful and kind with us the whole time. The swimming pool is fantastic, after a hot day you can chill over the pool, have some drinks and see the beautiful and unforgettable sunset at the River Nile. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are spacious and clean. They have several restaurants with different dietary options, the breakfast was a delicious international buffet and they even have a gift shop inside the hotel. It is accessible for wheelchair user and kids friendly. Definitely we highly recommended.

SCAM! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL - THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I should have read other sites' review since it has happened to different people already. They charge you 2 or 3 times in your cards by telling you that they do not get paid by the booking system (Hotels.com Booking, etc) so they ask for your card again, or for a different card (in my case) to pay for the stay; but in reality they have made the charge through the booking place (illegally, as you haven't consented to that!). Suffice to day they have been playing dumb since I contacted them to explain the problem - they just ignore that fact saying they dont see double payments. I didn't think an established ”hotel” would do that as well - we experienced a lot of scamming and robbery in Luxor; EVERY person in Luxor is trying to steal from you in one way or another - sadly this hotel does the same. I cannot even advice to stay somewhere else, as all of Luxor seemed to operate in scams and cheating. The only thing I can advise is ”DO NOT GO THERE” - or if you must, go with a fully booked and paid Tour so you do not need to deal with this disgusting situation.

Excellent hotel/hostel with a friendly owner and staff. Great rooftop social area which is key to learning from others and big value in terms of saving money and time. We booked a West Bank tour through the hotel with Aladine Solomon Tours. Aladine was the best Egyptian tour guide that we encountered. He has a great sense of humor and explained a lot of customs, agriculture, and history that went beyond a normal tour.

It is attached to the market, Luxor Temple is a 5-minute walk away, and the sunset view of the rooftop restaurant is wonderful. The facilities are old and there is no elevator, but the rest of the advantages cover this disadvantage. There are various menu for breakfast. You can eat with a view of the Nile River
