Lovely hotel. We stayed self catering and our room was spotlessly clean. Was a lovely room on the 5th floor which over looked the pool. Nice and quiet. We’d read some of the reviews and the one about the pool being tiny made me laugh. The pool is fairly big compared to some we saw on our walk about. So if you want an Olympic size swimming pool then this hotel isn’t for you! Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms cleaned every day if you wanted. Beds were lovely and comfortable. Although the WiFi is only in the pool area that didn’t bother us, as we’re not on holiday to be stuck on our phones etc, needing WiFi. Pool side bar drinks were a good price. I get why the pool opens and shuts when it does, as there’s no sun before 9.30 and after 5 in that area. But just because they’ve put the loungers away you can still use the pool, and get a lounger out if required, like some did. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t say what the food was like, but people we spoke to said it was nice. There is a supermarket just over the road with bars and places to eat. And Tides fish and chip shop is a must. And a nice little cafe called the old English tea room, which does lovely food. Also a nice Italian called rimini just around the corner. All in all a lovely hotel and will be going back again.

First time my husband and I have stayed at the Aquamar and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was his birthday while we were there and the staff left him a birday bottle of lovely champagne :) They were all amazing and couldn't do enough for you. We were on the 4th floor which was fantastic a great view overlooking the pool with sunshine for the husband to sit and enjoy his breakfast :) The apartment was great with everything you need for a self catering holiday very clean lots of room with a very comfy bed. The cleaners came every day except a Wednesday, you don't have to have your room cleaned everyday or have your sheets and towels changed everyday if you don't want to. We didn't try the food so can not comment. All in all the complex/hotel was very clean and well maintained I feel it should be given an extra star taking it from a 3 to a 4 star. We have booked another stay at the Auarmar and can't wait for the day to arrive. Thank You to all the staff that made our stay an unforgetable one.
