Hollywood Los Angeles|0.32km from Lassie's Star
We recently stayed on the 8th (top) floor in a deluxe king room. So many reviews mention a noise issue, but we NEVER heard noise from the top floor bar or pool or from the restaurant on the ground floor. The only noise that was troublesome was children on our floor racing up and down the hall and banging on doors for fun, but the hotel quickly took care of that. Aside from a quiet stay, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom is thoughtfully designed and we always had warm water and great water pressure. We did have once instance of the shower not draining but it was quickly resolved. The views were incredible and the blackout curtains were perfect, fully covering the windows; no rays of light sneaking in like so many traditional curtains. The Hyatt app allowed us to Chromecast to the TV when we were relaxing and wifi was fast. While there isn't a traditional desk area to work from the lobby has plenty of room to settle in comfortably and work from a laptop if needed. This was a trip to celebrate a milestone birthday and the tommie Hollywood team left a small birthday gift in the room to help us kick off our stay. It was so thoughtful and much appreciated. The location is great-- we were able to walk to much of what we wanted to do in Hollywood/Downtown LA and the rest was a quick Metro or Lyft away. We were mildly nervous about staying in Hollywood, but a lot of revitalization has been done and it was honestly better than our hometown west coast big city in terms of safety/visible unhoused persons. We were steps away from some amazing food/drinks, too-- Intelligensia, Bahn Oui, Love2Eat Thai Bistro, Scum and Villany Cantina, the Hollywood Farmers Market on Sunday, and Ka'teen and Desert 5 Spot in the hotel itself. We will be back!

Dirty. Filthy. Smelly. Trash everywhere in the room. Carpet so dirty and gross. Bathroom full of hairs everywhere in the shower and sink.

Breakfast is served at the rooftop garden at your own expense. There is no attention to the extra bed. The top of the building is a bar at night, and the weekend we go will be noisy. The location is conveniently located near Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard. We are all Uber in and out. This corner room cost 3,000 RMB a night, is room 01. If you want to see the Hollywood Hills, you will need another corner room.

The location is perfect. The terrace above is great. Where can I watch the stars, drink juice, chat and complain. The hotel is also very safe. The staff is also super nice and very welcoming. We are very welcome

Get a superior room, It was very beautiful The room was on the third floor. People on the first floor face the lobby, so it's pretty I think it's noisy. The third floor was quiet. On the last day of my solo female trip, I had nearly 30kg of luggage. No elevator, steep stairs, I was wondering what to do The woman at the reception carried it with me. The room was based on white and looked cute. The clothes I brought in smelled strongly of hypochlorous acid. The hot water in the shower is unstable and sometimes turns into cold water. It's within walking distance to the Walk of Fame. I got tangled up with a homeless person on the way there, so I felt it was a bit unsafe. Uber costs about $9. When you exit the hotel, walk 200 meters to the left and you will see the Hollywood sign clearly. The last photo is the road from the hotel to the Walk of Fame. It's a little less crowded.

My husband surprised me and bought a series at the Pantages for Mother’s Day. We traveled down south on 4 different occasions: October 2021, December 2021, March 2022 and July 2022. For our first trip we decided to try the W since it was walking distance to both theaters. We never saw a reason to find a different hotel! It is truly beautiful and makes you feel like you are in the heart of Hollywood! The rooms are spacious and clean, the lobby is just fun to hang out in for a cocktail and the rooftop pool is fabulous! The most amazing part of our stays however was the woman/manager behind the front desk, Joyrama, who is every bit her name! Joy is professional, kind, funny and truly went above and beyond for each of our stays. She truly made each of our trips extraordinary, so much so that I actually miss getting to see her. That being said, we are planning another trip and have already booked our stay so I will get to see Joy again in November:). Thank you for all you do for your guests. It is appreciated!
